This has been talked avout extensively but Leon is legit just a GUY. A regular ass cop who just so happened to survive and doubly so because of Ada. He's not Solid Snake or a destined chosen one Leon was ever so slightly more qualified than Bryan, who in the movie was just dumb
Let's be honest, most of us wouldn't survive five minutes in resident evil, and Bryan is the perfect example.
Bad aim, constant panic, wasting ammo, swearing at everything and making questionable decisions.
People really think they'd turn into Leon Kennedy or Chris Redfield the second they step into Raccoon City. Be serious. Bryan is probably the most realistic RE protagonist we've ever had

Both were shit in their own ways! One was shit because how it uses RE as a garb, a shell to sell nonsense, & another was shit for trying to check how many games & characters from games it can fit in a single movie! None of those movies had screenplays adequate for RE!
Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil may not have pulled much from the world itself, but there’s no denying the formula, spirit, and tone of the games is there. If you have played a Resident Evil game you can see the formula.
However, that alone can’t carry an RE adaptation. WTRC suffered in a similar way. They had game characters on screen with the iconic locations but butchered the story. Cregger had the gameplay formula, but hardly nothing from the world itself. Now if we can get a RE film with both of those elements combined, we would have the best live action adaptation yet. #ResidentEvilㅤ #REBHFun

Is it just me, or is this some next level cope for people who are retarded nobody's feeling insecure about larger than life characters. The appeal of RE protagonists is going from normal to badass, but this goes beyond RE, this just feels like the glorification of being a nobody.

I have RESIDENT EVIL OUTBREAK File 1 looking the best I’ve ever seen it. At times, it almost looks like a proper remaster.
I’ve been getting everything dialed in with PCSX2, HD textures, widescreen, ReShade and DLSS 5, and I’m really happy with how it’s turned out.
Just wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone behind these tools and mods. A special thank you to the OBSRV crew for keeping the servers online and putting together so many helpful tutorials. Being able to jump back into Outbreak with friends all these years later is something I really appreciate. 🫡
