Speak for Congo. This is what is happening in Congo DR. #FreeCongo
The Democratic Republic of the Congo is in grave danger. The former president has officially become a rebel. He has turned against the very country he led for 18 years. We call on all Africans to stand for peace in Congo. #FreeCongo #AfricaUnite #PASNet

What leadership can preside over such epic havoc. Destruction of age old Indegenous tree species & deforestation is not celebration of Mazingira, it’s disastrous rape to our heritage? This is not viable buisness model,It is as catastrophic as is untamed & primitive greed.

That is Uganda, and this is Congo, DR, where an elderly woman is being tortured to demanding compensation before vacating her ancestral land to pave way for mining. There is a big problem in Africa.
Human Rights violations continues in Uganda. A police vehicle is seen running over innocent people in broad daylight. This is sad, sick and Museveni's dictatorial regime MUST be stopped. #PASNet #AfricaUnite

What is happening in Sudan needs global attention. Men, women and children are being raped, tortured and killed by UAE backed RSF militia. What happens if we all unite and step in to #FreeSudan ? Silence only emboldens the tormentors. Silence is complicity. #FreeSudan
All eyes on Transitional Justice for Sudan. Sudan is bleeding. Sudan is crying for help. It is time we stand with Sudan. #FreeSudan #PASNet

Ban the #UAE from all of Africa! Which is responsible for the genocide and the destruction of Sudan, Somalia through #Ethiopia. It's hard to feel proud as an African! When AU member states cannot pay the organization's budget.. One of the aid donors to the AU is the UAE. #Eritrea

I want to offer an apology to the people of Nairobi, Kenya. The passion you have your city and homeland is amazing… We all make mistakes. I misspoke, and I am sorry to anyone I have offended.🙌

OPEN LETTER TO NEWSMAX Re: TAKE THE VIDEO DOWN AND APOLOGISE ON AIR — OR STAY SILENT AND OWN THE INSULT Dear @NEWSMAX, Your host Rob Finnerty went on air and casually used Nairobi as the punchline for urban decay. He said immigrants move into “blue sanctuary cities” and suddenly those cities “start to look more like Nairobi than New York City.” No Kenyan was even in the segment. The people he interviewed were from Guatemala, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Mexico and Guinea. Nairobi was just a convenient, lazy insult he reached for because it sounded third-world enough for his audience. Kenyans called it out. Hard. Within hours the word “apology” was trending in Kenya. Finnerty eventually posted a soft, smiling apology on X. “I misspoke.” “The passion you have for your city is amazing.” The usual damage-control script. That is not an apology. That is a tweet. The original video is still up. Your platform has said nothing. You have not taken the clip down. You have not put Finnerty back on air to say the same words to the same audience that heard the insult. So here is the demand, raw: Take the video down. Immediately. And put your host back on television and make him apologise properly on the same platform he used to reduce a capital city of over five million people to a slur for disorder. Not a tweet. Not a note. On air. Nairobi is not your metaphor for failure. It is a city of businesses, traffic, skyscrapers, matatus, and millions of people who do not need a Newsmax host to explain to Americans what decline looks like. Your network just handed Kenyans another free lesson in how cheaply some American media will throw an African city under the bus for ratings. We have already seen the tweet. We are still waiting for the actual correction. Until the video is gone and the apology is on air, the original statement stands. And so does the damage. Kenyans are watching. Signed, The people of Nairobi and Kenya. teapawt.net/NEWSMAX/status/2108367…

"Ethiopia received 365 UAE cargo and military shipments during the first three quarters of 2026 and more than $30 billion in foreign assistance over the past eight years, while around 21.4 million Ethiopians continue to depend on humanitarian aid." what a story this sad tale recounts, gangster regime living off foreign aid while its people starve...

i dont think ppl grasp that the majority of mining done in Congo & Sudan is artisanal (& no that isnt a cutesy term for "boutique.") it means ppl (incl. children) w/ rudimentary tools & bare hands coming into contact w/ dangerous chemicals so ppl can have a laptop or a necklace.

In 1974, both governments in Cairo and Khartoum sat in a room and signed a paper. “The Sudd is wasting water. Let us dig a 360km canal from Jonglei to the Sobat. We will split the extra water 50/50. The people of Twi East, Duk and Bor. The people whose cows drink from the toic. Whose fish breed in the Sudd. Whose history is written on water were never considered. So, in 1974, mostly students of defunct Bor District in Juba protested over the project of canal were many of them were shot and killed by Khartoum government. In 1978, the French company CCI shipped this behemoth from Pakistan. Guided by a laser beam, it dug 130 feet wide, 20 feet deep. It consumed 10,400 gallons of fuel a day. However, history had already prepared a man, when a man decides to fight, he fights for something bigger than his village.. Dr. John Garang de Mabior was in Iowa State University at that time doing his PhD with thesis “Identifying, Analyzing and Evaluating Development options for The Jonglei area”. The very canal that wanted to kill his people. the government's plan for the locals was nothing but "misery management." A few boreholes and schools to make people keep quiet while they steal Nile river to Egypt. Dr. Garang decided to used Sudd as a yardstick. In Nairobi, at UNEP headquarters, there was a group called the ELC. One Professor Richard Odingo of Nairobi University who in 1977 stood at a UN Conference and shouted, "Here is a canal being built that will make Africa's next desert!" On October 1982, at the Royal Geographical Society in London, they held a meeting. Topic: "The impact of the Jonglei Canal." The white man who once wanted the canal now said, "Stop it” When SPLA was formed on 16th May 1983 after the Bor Mutiny, the first military order was not to attack Juba. It was, Go and stop the Bucket Wheel. In 1984, they chased the workers. CCI ran away. “makarawin” was left there, alone, rusting in the bush of Nyaken, birds nesting in its buckets. 260km of unfinished canal, disappearing under grass. The Bucket Wheel did not cause the war alone. But it gave the war a story that the world could understand. It turned SPLA from "rebels" to "saviors of the world's largest wetland." May the soul of a man who could have lived the life many of us only dream of, but chose instead a fight that forced him to leave his family behind. Credit:Desmond D. Mabior.

#UAE plays a harmful role in various conflicts across Africa—a deeply concerning. While UAE Govt publicly denies involvement in illegal warfare and genocide, evidence indicates that it provides significant financial, logistical, and military support to both state and non-state.
