BREAKING: JD Vance's staffers are reportedly planning for the possibility that Donald Trump uses his failing health to resign after the midterms, and then starts blaming President Vance in the spring for ruining the "perfect economy" he left Vance, and also losing the Iran War.

🇨🇦 Canada has a strange economy.
Your house is worth a fortune, but your salary can’t afford one.
Your government collects more taxes, but somehow runs bigger deficits.
Your population grows, but living standards struggle to keep up.
Your bank reports billions in profits, while Canadians struggle with mortgage payments.
Politicians celebrate GDP growth while ordinary Canadians wonder why they’re getting poorer.
Canada doesn’t have a shortage of wealth.
It has a growing problem turning economic activity into prosperity for ordinary Canadians.
And that’s the number Ottawa doesn’t like discussing.

The last phone call Lil Jon ever had with his son was him calling back to say sorry. He had no idea it would be the last time he'd hear Nathan's voice.
Nathan was 27. NYU grad, music producer, DJ'd under the name Young Slade. For about four years he'd been dealing with physical pain and a lot going on emotionally, and he was in therapy working on it. His dad kept riding him to take better care of himself, and Nathan finally asked him to give him some credit for how hard he was trying.
Then early one Saturday morning, Nathan sent him a text.
"My love for you is stronger than my fear."
Jon took the whole back-and-forth to his own therapist, who told him something pretty simple. His son just wanted to be heard and seen.
So he picked up the phone, told Nathan he was sorry, and told him he could see how hard he'd been trying.
The next morning Nathan ran out of his house in Milton, Georgia around 6am and left his phone behind. He had a therapy appointment on the books that same day. Three days later a dive team found him in a pond at a park near his house. The medical examiner ruled it an accidental drowning.
Jon had pretty much finished writing his memoir when this happened. He'd already named it I Only Shout So You Can Hear Me. This is a guy who's been yelling WHAT and YEAH on records for 30 years, and he built the title of his whole life story around wanting people to hear him.
Read that title again now that you know about the phone call.
He went back into the book, wrote a new chapter about Nathan, and dedicated the whole thing to him. It came out last Tuesday. His co-writer Paul Cantor says he never had one conversation with Jon where Nathan didn't come up.
After Nathan died, Jon says he basically lived on the couch for months. So in this clip you're watching a guy talk about dragging himself back up because his daughter and his partner deserve the best of him. He says he had to relearn how to smile and laugh. And he thanks Allah for giving him 27 years with his son.
Nathan was a teenager hanging around the studio when Turn Down for What got made, and his dad called him his good-luck charm. Ten years later Nathan was engineering his father's meditation album. In an interview last year, Nathan said his dad always showed up for him.
The man famous for shouting so you'd hear him spent his last call with his son making sure Nathan knew he'd been heard.
Keke Palmer got EMOTIONAL and teared up as Lil Jon opened up about GRIEVING the tragic loss of his 27-year-old son Nathan, revealing how he had to learn to SMILE AGAIN, find joy in life and pull himself out of a DARK PLACE for his family 💔
“I realized I had to pick myself up, because my daughter and my partner deserve the best of me. I had to learn to smile again and laugh again… I have gratitude for Allah for giving me my son for 27 years. I appreciate every memory… If I can get through it, you can get through it. You have to keep living, keep spreading love, and keep spreading joy”

I recently visited a house in Miami owned by a Heat player. (My client was the prospective buyer). The house was the scene of a bankruptcy in action.
The player was at the end of his career. Selling the house at a significant loss after just a few years of owning it. Important to note: Miami single family over $5M is one of the best performing segments of the real estate market here. He managed to lose money on a house in a market that shot up. Amazing.
Easily over $5M of cars in the driveway (I am not exaggerating). And three rooms full of mostly sneakers. Thousands of pairs. It was mind boggling.
The listing agent started to extoll the virtues of the driveway, saying how nicely cars fit. My buyer, who can buy the whole thing in cash, deadpans that he does not have a car.
The contrast was rather poetic, in a tragic sort of way. – at Fisher Island, FL

Gentle Reminder this is what they said during the battle, that they now claim they were just calling the music.
Ebro & Peter Rosenberg SPEAK on Drake:
“In every version of this scenario, is Akademiks even making it to Drake’s birthday party? There’s another version where Drake wouldn’t have AK there—but he decided other people were the opps.”
Ebro adds: “In the other version, Akademiks was still a Kendrick fan, riding hard for him… but Akademiks picked a side.”

Another stat for the nerds:
563,124 votes were cast in total in Toronto's last regular mayoral election in 2022 (ie. not a by-election).
532,201 votes were cast for Olivia Chow alone in 2026.
