After ICE illegally locked me out last week, I finally got into the Adelanto ICE facility. What I saw was horrifying: LA workers held in filthy, inhumane conditions, cut off from lawyers, family, and basic necessities.
@RepLindaSanchez, @RepMarkTakano, @RepKamlagerDove, @RepLuzRivas, and I saw it firsthand and we will be demanding answers and accountability from ICE.

I get your point Mr Mayor, but framing protest and constitutional rights with respectability politics is a position for the white gaze. These folks are protesting broken systems that continually kill and kidnap people and separate families, eliminate healthcare etc.
