The DOJ lawsuit assumes anyone who votes for the non-senator Sullivan was confused about who they were voting for.
How do you prove that? washingtonpost.com/national-…
Obama has been somewhat restrained in criticizing Trump. So this is new:
“He’s got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened a Cheesecake Factory. Just gold everywhere.” nytimes.com/2026/10/24/us/po…
2016: Supporters of Trump believe conspiracy about Dems running a (non-existent) child-abuse ring in the (non-existent) basement of a DC pizza restaurant.
2026: Supporters of Ramaswamy believe his opponent is “a liar” because she claimed her stepfather raped her when she was 12
Vivek Ramaswamy, the GOP nominee for Ohio governor, released an ad in which his opponent’s mother calls her “a liar.”
Democratic candidate Amy Acton hasn’t been in contact with her mother since 1978. These documents corroborate her childhood trauma story. wapo.st/3UjEZWi
Walked around Tokyo in the dead of night on a trip a few years ago. Not exactly sure where I was. Felt zero concern for my safety. Same in Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Hakone.
Melania Trump has been a more effective and successful negotiator than Witkoff, Kushner, Rubio or her husband. nytimes.com/2026/10/23/us/po…
Addenda: Pope Leo XIV also played a role in brokering this ceasefire. vaticannews.va/en/world/news…
Context: Trump was accused by at least 27 women of sexual misconduct, (harassment, nonconsensual touching or groping, assault) from the late 1970s through the 2010s. A jury found him liable for sexual abuse in May 2023. He has denied all claims, just as he denies Acton’s here.
Horrific and outrageous. @WashingtonPost photojournalist Heidi Levine describes attack on her by Israeli settlers in the West Bank. cnn.com/2026/10/22/middleeas…
Kind of stunning that no one has resigned from Ramaswamy’s campaign staff over that ad. Maybe they believe it’s a legit attack.
Ramaswamy is in a close race with Acton, which makes his decision to run that shocking ad even more bizarre. Why throw a Hail Mary like this when he could still win with a far less polarizing strategy?
Or is his campaign in more trouble than polls suggest?
Because all “humanitarians” employ cluster munitions.
It’s now officially confirmed.
Tonight, russia struck Kyiv’s historic centre with an Iskander ballistic missile carrying a cluster warhead.
58 submunitions explode in mid-air, designed to inflict maximum casualties across a 400 × 400 metre area.
“This strike had no military purpose. The goal was to destroy part of the old city and injure as many people as possible,” said a Ukrainian presidential adviser.
No military objective. Just terror.
Amazing that so much inaccurate information persists at a time when accurate information is more accessible than at any time in human history.
Illuminating exchange with a 19 year old voter in Detroit, worried about @AbdulElSayed’s name. @AJEnglish #Midterms2026 #Michigan
Yes, he would.
President Trump strongly defends Vivek Ramaswamy’s ad featuring Amy Acton’s estranged mom. Trump: “That took a lot of courage to do but, essentially, what she was really doing was saving Ohio from making a truly horrible choice! The Press is trying to convince everyone that this Ad is bad, because it’s so good! Who wouldn’t use such an Ad? I would, it’s called, ‘hitting pay dirt.’”
Not how this works. If you want your comment/POV reflected in a news story, respond to the reporter while the reporting is ongoing. Reporters are under no obligation to include a comment that arrives long after publication.
The @nytimes article by @apoorva_nyc still says HHS “did not provide a comment.” We sent @SecKennedy’s response more than 24 hours ago and asked them to update the story. They haven’t.
Readers deserve the full story. Here’s the response the Times has yet to include.
She hid in Kuwait during Iraq’s invasion, risking her life to continue reporting. Another esteemed former @washingtonpost colleague reaches —30–. RIP, Caryle. Caryle Murphy, who won the Pulitzer Prize reporting from Kuwait, dies at 79 washingtonpost.com/obituarie…
White House has already tried banning Politico from the White House. What “unspecified consequences” does it have left?
The White House counsel's office warned Politico in a Monday letter that it had 48 hours to retract or correct recent stories revolving around COS Susie Wiles — or it would suffer unspecified consequences.
