Elon Musk
Just what an incredible fall from grace…
From innovative, eco-conscious, cool nerd…
To depraved, entitled, evil, war-mongering, self-radicalised fuckwit.

I’ll stipulate that Trump is an agent of Putin.
Go down the checklist.
1. Destroyed the Western alliance? Putin wanted that.
2. Threatened a NATO ally over Greenland? Putin wanted that.
3. Pulled out of the intermediate nuclear pact? Putin wanted that.
4. Withdrawing 25-40,000 troops from Western Europe while Russian bellicosity is rising? Putin wanted that.
5. Russian satellites giving coordinates to Iranians killing our soldiers, and his response is “they kill us, we kill them”? What American president says that?
I think he’s been compromised.
The election of Donald Trump may be the greatest foreign policy success in post-Czarist Russian history.

Imagine a life where we just listened to FACTS
Immigration down
Inflation down
Unemployment down
You would be happy wouldn’t you?
So what’s making you not happy?
The right wing trolls on here?
GB News?
The Daily Mail?
Maybe it’s time some people decided if they’d prefer to listen to right wing propaganda or maybe just listen to facts?

In just 10 days, the Trump administration has:
- Struck a deal to buy Russian diesel and eased sanctions.
- Suspended the bipartisan Graham-Blumenthal Russia sanctions law, just weeks after signing it.
- Restricted Ukraine's access to Starshield satellite services.
- Suspended intelligence warnings about Russian missile launches targeting Ukraine for several days.
- Threatened to cut intelligence sharing unless Ukraine stopped striking Russian oil infrastructure.
- Pressured Ukraine to remove Zelenskyy from power.
- Downplayed Russia's and China's assistance to Iran in its war against the US, dismissing it as "very little."
- Proposed unfreezing Russian sovereign assets and placing some under US control.
- Pursued lucrative US-Russia business deals, including cooperation on data centres.
- Proposed that Europe resume buying Russian gas as part of a Ukraine peace deal
If Trump were actually a Russian agent, what exactly would he be doing differently?

So, MAGA, let me make sure I understand the strategy.
Canada is the enemy. Europe is the enemy. Japan is the enemy. South Korea is the enemy. Australia and New Zealand are the enemy.
Russia is the friend.
You want to trade the richest, most technologically advanced alliance network on Earth, representing tens of trillions of dollars in economic power, for Russia.
You are trading a fleet of aircraft carriers for a rowboat.
You are trading North America, Europe and the advanced democracies of Asia-Pacific for Russia.
You are trading an economic and military network spanning three continents for one country with an economy comparable to a single small European state.
And this is supposed to make America stronger?
That is a big downgrade. But it is who you are.
Funny how many Reform voters who claim ALL asylum seekers are rapists are now telling us not to judge Reform on the actions of a handful of councillors?

Since the attack on the Russian data centre. The traffic for the ‘patriot party’ is mysteriously off a cliff

Much of London was far more sketchy and rundown in the 1980s and 1990s. Nowadays London looks much neater and the threat of unprovoked violence is much much lower than you would find in some provincial town.

Suggest they come to the inner London suburbs where I live. As calm and indeed boring as any town in England!

Im 57, from Bethnal green. Lived and worked all over London my whole life. Never really felt unsafe. Just keep your wits about you. Act like a victim, become a victim. 99% of people are fine, its knowing how to avoid/ deal with the inevitable 1% you will come across at some point

Frustrates the hell out of me. Grew up in Camden, went to school in Camden moved away for years, came back and have 2 girls in Camden schools.
Everyone tells me how dangerous it is and it's absolute bullshit statistically and anecdotally. So much safer now! Love it here.

Krishnan Guru-Murthy, "How long do you think its going to take for people to forget you ran the country for 14 years?"
Helen Whateley, "Kemi has published an essay called The Right Way, really thinking about what's gone wrong with the country"
14 years of Tory austerity 🤷♀️
My view: Fourteen years of Conservative government hollowed out the public realm: councils stripped back, NHS waiting lists soared, social care was left in crisis, schools and courts were squeezed, and living standards stagnated for many people.
Then Brexit added trade barriers, labour shortages, higher costs and less investment to an economy already weakened by austerity.
Kemi Badenoch can publish as many essays as she likes, but the party cannot meaningfully diagnose Britain’s decline without acknowledging its central role in causing it.

We do not own a football club but if you punish this football club that we do not own we will punish you

UAE officials have warned the UK government that the severity of Man City’s punishment could undermine their appetite for future grand-scale commitments in Britain, according to people familiar with the matter
They consider the Premier League’s actions to have an influence on the bilateral state relationship, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing undisclosed information
The extraordinary pressure comes after Andy Burnham faced criticism, including from within government, for saying Man City’s Abu Dhabi owners should not be disqualified specifically because of the investment they bring to Britain

Fair play to him. Didn’t look like he was going to be able to get Forest Green to league 2, so he’s chosen to take Peterborough there instead
Posh confirm appointment of Robbie Savage as the club's new first team manager on a long-term contract.

🚨🎙️ Jamie Carragher on Jorge Jesus winning three consecutive Nations League matches with Portugal following the situation with Cristiano Ronaldo:
🗣️ Jamie Carragher: "Listen, you can criticize Jorge Jesus all you want for how he handled the situation with Cristiano Ronaldo. You can dislike the man, dislike his personality, or say he should have shown more respect to an absolute legend of the game.
"But what you cannot do is stand here and tell me he doesn't know his job.
"Look at the football this Portugal team is playing under him. Three wins out of three in the Nations League, coming away to a venue as tough as Copenhagen and scoring four goals—that doesn't happen by accident. The tactical structure, the technicality, the movement—the man knows exactly what he's doing at this level.
"Trust me, Jorge Jesus is an elite manager. He makes brutal decisions, even the ones that make him deeply unpopular, because he believes it's for team progress. He looks at his tactical setup, decides what gives Portugal the absolute best chance to win, and executes it without fear.
"He knows what is best for this group, and at the end of the day, people need to get one thing clear in their heads: it’s Portugal FC, not Ronaldo FC."

Regardless of how the Manchester City case plays out, surely this should kickstart a debate about banning state-linked investment funds from purchasing English football clubs in the future. It doesn't seem unreasonable that this could be added to the regulator's existing powers.
