Today a dismissal agreement was filed with the Denver district court. The Colorado PT Board and Acupuncture Associations filed this agreement. Pending Governors signature, dry needling is now in statute in Colorado for PT's & when PT performed, is not acupuncture per state law.

Today the PT practice act passed out of the Colorado legislature and is bound for the Governors desk for signature. Here is the final vote 51-14. Diagnosis, dry needling and a new scope declaration all now included in statute.

Colorado PT Practice Act including an updated scope of practice, diagnosis and dry needling in statute for physical therapists today passed the Colorado Senate UNANIMOUSLY. Small variances from the House bill as passed by the Senate will be addressed next.
