ALT An excerpt from the FT article, which reads: 'the squeezed surroundings put GB News's influence into perspective. On screen, it loudly questions gender policy, but due to space constraints its own toilets are gender-neutral. On screen, its pundits have campaigned for retailers to accept cash, but, upstairs, the building's cafe only accepts card payments. The set-up is less media mogul, more student revolutionary living with the parents.'

ALT SIR – Neil Record says that, since the UK is responsible for “only” 1 per cent of global carbon emissions each year, we should not bother tackling climate change. But, taken together, every country accounting for between 0 and 1 per cent of emissions adds up to 29 per cent of the total, which is more than China’s 27 per cent as the biggest single emitter. If these countries stepped back on cutting emissions, this could have more impact than China doing likewise. A race to the bottom on climate change is not something the British public wants.
