Watching a black woman being shouted down on TV for calling Boris Johnson racist - he is racist, he has a back catalogue of racism - is really grim, and underlines how calling out racism is deemed more offensive than racism itself.

I have just joined @UKLabour. I have always voted Labour but the recent attacks on the leadership by the press, the unelected Lords and those on the right of the party have pushed my hand. Waiting for the day when @jeremycorbyn becomes Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Proud to have voted this evening to extend same sex marriage & abortion reform to Northern Ireland.
BREAKING 🏳️🌈MPs have just voted for #equalmarriage in #NorthernIreland! This is a huge step forward for LGBT equality in the UK and a tribute to those who have spent years building momentum and public support for equal marriage in Northern Ireland stonewall.org.uk/about-us/ne…

Where is the wall to wall coverage of this extreme, unapologetic racism?

👏 @jeremycorbyn at #LabourRoots Leeds: “I don’t like the word tolerance...I don’t tolerate somebody. I respect somebody, I work with somebody, I love somebody. I don’t like the idea I’ve got to tolerate them because they’re a different faith. No, respect is a much better way...”
