Ronaldo's header was the same situation as "B". Hence, the goal was cancelled a few hours later after it was reviewed by data providers like Opta.
*Some say Ronaldo didn't even touch the ball while heading it. It was just the defender who headed it. I haven't personally confirmed it though.

I personally think if I’m Leo Messi, I’m REJECTING this award. How do you expect people to ignore all the controversies surrounding Messi and the FIFA president, yet suddenly you’re presenting him with a Princess award and expecting everyone to clap?
If I were Messi, I’d be asking questions instead of smiling for pictures. The timing is questionable, and I genuinely think this is a disrespect disguised as an honour. But Messi is too Argentine to see what’s right in front of him. They know exactly what they’re doing, yet he’s busy thanking everyone for the recognition. 🤦♂️
Sometimes, the biggest insult isn’t denying you an award. It’s making you accept one without questioning the circumstances behind it. WAKE UP, LEO!
