Losing 50% of your NAV ATH teaches you a brutally painful lesson you will never forget. I also had one of these, thanksfully in my second year of trading. You will learn to take profits and protect capital at all cost. Focus on how much you are going to lose, rather than how much you are going to make. Don't let it spiral you emotionally. Delete the equity ATH value out of your brain. Forget about it. Your goal is survival, not getting back to those highs. The recovery process is slow, especially if you are carrying mental scars with you now. Took me over a year to get back into the saddle and being able to put on proper risk again. I've seen million dollar traders go back to 100$ risk/trade for months until they felt confident again.

Well this was fun. All we did was bid 10 stocks for 3 days and we pushed the market to ATH?? Liquidity is so shit that we will rotate out of them in max 2-3 days. We are just moving capital around and playing hot potato.

Morale has been destroyed the last 3 months. I believe retail has about 30% exposure and if we get 3-4 days up we will get them to chase. The ones that don't chase will get no pullback to buy in and be left with low exposure. Game theory setup. They didn't buy the low deviation, they don't buy the follow through to range highs and now they won't buy the range high breakout. 2 sided outcomes: topside deviation or full on range breakout to 750 $QQQ
