It's worth saying that our whole family have been enjoying #homeeducation. We learn together, I'd forgotten how great dinosaurs were until I saw them again through my son's eyes. Maybe I could retrain...just need to check, how do I become a palaeontologist?? #FairHearing4HomeEd

I want my child to be engaged in his education and to love learning. These are skills for life. The state can't see him, it can see tick boxes. Nobody became an entrepreneur, creative or scientist because of tick boxes, they do it by being inspired. #FairHearing4HomeEd

At our allotment we learn about life cycles, the water cycle, the importance of conservation. We've talked about pollution and we've discussed physical and mental health. We look at mini-beasts and seeds. We grow and we nurture. #FairHearing4HomeEd

In our house it's ok to stand out from the crowd and it's ok if you don't want to. It's ok to need a quiet day, it's ok to want to be around family. It's ok to play with cars and it's ok to play with dolls. It's ok to say let's have a go and it's ok to say no. #FairHearing4HomeEd

Pre-school didn't suit my son, we discussed school and we decided together to #homeeducate. I respect his choice and we will continue for as long as he wants, whether that's just one more year or all the way to 18. #FairHearing4HomeEd
