While we’re talking potential realignment candidates, here’s my pitch Western Michigan: -37 conference championships in the last 4 years -current football champs and favorites for back to back MAC titles for the first time since 2012 - 3rd highest football win % in the last decade -most recent MAC team to represent the G5 in the CFP/NY6 -Brand new $500M arena coming next year -one of the top locations in the conference for business and resources Oh and we have a recent natty in a revenue sport, if that’s worth anything I have a lot of respect for other MAC programs doing great things, but if WMU isnt on your shortest of short lists with the rest of them, you’re not paying attention
