When Vinay Prasad was named head of CBER in May, I wrote this:
Prasad joins the FDA as an outsider, but soon, he’ll be an insider. He’ll be held accountable for his decisions, sometimes by people more powerful than him. The longtime critic, the guy who relishes being the scold, is now the decision-maker.
It will be fascinating to watch how he handles the transition.
