πΏItβs a bit ironic, but if this plays out, itβs a tactical masterclass from Manchester United. π
Brighton CEO Paul Barber is notorious for not putting an asking price out there. The model is basically: come to us, tell us your price, and weβll discuss.
United didnβt play that game last summer or in January. Instead, they activated the player, agreed terms, and Baleba only wanted United.
Then Newcastle opened talks and suddenly Brightonβs valuation was revealed: Β£60β65M.
United can now swoop in, just like with Ε eΕ‘ko, knowing exactly what Brighton actually value Baleba at and get the deal done.
Once again, United used Newcastle like the first three runners in a 4x100m relay. They let them do the hard yards, took the baton, and sprinted the final 100m. ππ΄

The unbelievable Manchester United PR machine keeps delivering spin by design.
Toby Craig, Chief Communications Officer, oversees the club's PR, media relations and public messaging.
Omar Berrada, CEO, carries ultimate executive responsibility for the club's strategy, leadership and communications.
Both should be held accountable for the constant positive narratives surrounding a sporting project that continues to fail on the pitch yet delivering Oscar nominated best scriptsπ
Fans want results, transparency and accountability, not another carefully packaged PR campaign.

This it's spot on. Chemical billionare playing sporting director I know best. Results don't lie and everything he touched turned to shit I mean all the Ineos sporting ventures. Absolut clown π€‘
π¨WATCH THIS:
@SkyKaveh absolutely DESTROYS Sir Jim Ratcliffe LIVE on @SkySportsNews last night:
βIβm going to tell you whoβs to blame for this situation at the moment. The person to blame is Jim Ratcliffe.
He bought the club almost three years ago. He bought 29% of it when the Glazer family put the club up for sale. He didnβt buy the whole club; he only bought 29% of it.
And by buying 29%, it meant that the Glazers stayed in place and Jim Ratcliffe got to run the football operations.β
Thatβs the original sin. He didnβt clean house. He just propped up the Glazers.
Then the arrogance of the man who thought he knew better:
βHeβs come in and heβs said, βI know better than anyone else how to run this club. Weβre going to do things my way.β And look what itβs turned out to be over the past two and a half years.β
The managerial mess followed immediately:
βFirst of all, he said, βIβm going to back Erik ten Hag. Weβve been chopping and changing managers too much.β Then he went off and started meeting Thomas Tuchel and any other manager who was available behind Erik ten Hagβs back.β
βWhen they couldnβt find somebody else, they gave Ten Hag a new contract and money to spend. A couple of games later, Ten Hag loses his job.β
βIn the middle of the season, they beg Ruben Amorim to come to United. He doesnβt even want to go there in the middle of the season; he wants to wait until the summer.
They pay a fortune to get him, even though he plays three at the back, a totally different kind of football.β
βDan Ashworth doesnβt want him. Dan Ashworth leaves, Ruben Amorim comes in, and they go all in on Ruben Amorim. That doesnβt work out. They get rid of him.β
βThey bring in Carrick as an interim. Okay, results are better. Then they give him the full-time job.β
And then the transfer policy that locked the club into mediocrity:
βIn the meantime, Ratcliffe has come in and said, βWeβre going to do things my way. No player is going to get paid 250, 300 grand a week here anymore. Thatβs not going to happen. Weβre not going to sign any players for more than 60, 70 million pounds.β
So Mateus Fernandes, Elliot Anderson, Harry Kane, Declan Rice, all these players, we ainβt going to be signing them.
And also, weβre only going to be signing players with Premier League experience.
And weβre going to sign forwards one window, then the following summer weβre just going to sign midfielders, then next summer weβre just going to sign defenders.β
So this is Jim Ratcliffeβs way of doing things. So he is to blame for this situation.β

A chemical business man who doesn't know football, bit knows money. Oh what a shit show
One of the main reasons #mufc have decided to keep Michael Carrick is financial.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe made the final decision following talks involving the Glazers, Berrada and Wilcox [@SullyTalkz]
I'm officially signing out. #BoycottManchesterUnited
I'm a third-generation Manchester United fan. From my grandfather to my father, I grew up with the traditions, standards, pride and winning mentality of this great football club.
I've witnessed the glory, celebrated the titles and stood by United through the difficult times.
But enough is enough. I can no longer watch the club I love being dragged further away from everything it once stood for. No new manager is ever going to fix us only change of ownership.
My love for Manchester United will never die, but my support for those running it ends here.
Three generations of loyalty. And today, I've had enough.

Ofcourse this old story is re surface. I knows Willcox wanted him bit of this happens it's games over for real
π¨π¨ NEW: Gareth Southgate is among the candidates being considered by Manchester United as a potential replacement for Michael Carrick. [@NicoSchira] #mufc

Ineos have had 18 managers at Lausanne and Nice!! Theyβve owned Lausanne since 2017 and Nice since 2019 thatβs 18 managers at two clubs in under 10 years. Omar Berrada and Wilcox arenβt the common denominator here Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos are. Manchester United are already following a similar trend! If you think theyβve got every executive decision and technical decision wrong at all 3 clubs, Iβd argue maybe Sir Jim/Ineos are simply difficult to work for because theyβre clueless when it comes to football!
Manchester United under INEOS so far. π€‘
Ferrari ambitions. Toyota Yaris budget.
Window shopping, chasing βmarginal gainsβ and calling it ambition. All talk about being best in class, but always looking for the cheapest option.
At this rate, staff will soon be told to reuse their teabags three times. βπ

**THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE SALOON**
Our club have acted from day one as though the new stadium is already a done deal.
Surveys built around theoretical scenarios, diluting the voices of the very people who fill Old Trafford and have devoted their lives to this club.
There is a rot, a decay, a sense of hopelessness all due to the Glazers and Ratcliffe. They have sucked the life and dignity out of our club.
**Make no mistake. We are at a crossroads**
Act now or wave goodbye to the Manchester United you once knew.
Over the coming weeks, we will lay out clear plans. Plans that demand **ACTION**
And those actions will be down to **YOU, the fanbase.**
Not The 1958. Not another supporters' group. Not somebody else.
**YOU**
You might not like us. You might think we should smash the place up or somehow empty a 75,000 seat stadium.
We don't care what you think of us. It's all irrelevant.
This is bigger than The 1958. Bigger than egos, personalities and petty differences.
**Get behind the action or STFU when the club tramples all over you.**
Stop waiting for somebody else to fight your battles.
Because if we sit back and everything we've warned about becomes reality, don't start complaining that nobody did anything.
**You were warned. You had a choice.**
The plans will be crystal clear. The actions will be crystal clear.
The question is whether enough Reds give a shit to follow through.
**More to follow. Get your notifications on.**

Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox should have no future at Manchester United. They have spectacularly failed at building a squad or appointing a manager and should be replaced.

"Sell United and f*k off home" sing MUFC fans, the only good thing about the club right now.
And it's right. The Glazers have made their money many times over for 21 years. Fans never wanted it and that takeover should never have been allowed. Do the right thing: sell up and go.

The board and owners are to blame
Even if you blame carrick for things remember who hired him.
#MUFC
Please get out of our club. You are equally guilty for letting the manager, players but most important your customers the fans down. #Mufc
Thank you for your loyal service. Unfortunately this was your last game in charge. We know who shafted him and who is to blame. Carrick will be sacked and Wilcox and Berada still remains. Oh how the mighty have fallen. #mufc #IneosGlazersOut
