This 10 second video sums up the scenes I have encountered on a regular basis on Pittsburgh's Ohio River in the past 4+ years.
107 plastic bottles removed today stuffed into 3 bags + a floating tire with a rim & a styrofoam pumpkin.
56 pounds of trash paddled out in total.
As for the collection of trash in the video, that wasn't even 1 full bags worth right there. I've removed 847 bags from this river in the past 4+ years which maybe gives you a sense of just how abused this river is and the damage we are inflicting on our waterways. – at Pittsburgh, PA

🚨 DISGRACEFUL: A Portland high school football player LEVELED a kid who was running onto the field carrying the AMERICAN FLAG.
It happened before kickoff at Jefferson High's game against Grant.
The Jefferson player was ejected.
Portland Public Schools says the hit had "nothing to do" with the flag and that the kid let "his emotions override his judgment."
Then why did Jefferson's football account post the video, and why did it get deleted?
That flag deserves respect on every field in America.
Grant won 35-14. GOOD!
