I was not able to get a short out like I intended but I wanted to share some indie animation I'm a fan of that has had recent updates or has stuff coming out soon for #indieanimationday!
I'm not saying I don't have criticisms towards popular indie animated series BUT I think me trying turn my rough comic into a indie series years ago and being hit by the brick wall of how hard this is really humbled me early on when it comes to animation

Here’s my singing audition that helped me book “Bye Bye Bunny: A Looney Tunes Musical ” — with screenplay and lyrics by Emmy Award winner Ariel Dumas (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert) and music and orchestration by Pulitzer Prize, Tony and Grammy winner Tom Kitt (Next to Normal). Wish we could’ve seen this one come to fruition — would’ve been a good one 🎞️ 🎥 🍿 🥕🐰#StandWithAnimation @papertiki

R.I.P. to Eric Bauza
Out of all the actors who voiced the rabbit, you were the one who came the closest to Mel's original voice. You should've been around for 40 more years to voice him.

crazy to think that this is the last time we got to hear him voicing bugs bunny and it almost never got released. he should’ve had way more years ahead of him, still doesn’t make sense that he’s gone. RIP Eric Bauza

People want indie shows but they don't want to deal with the fact a lot of indie shows in general will by definition not have the same resources and team a standard show will have and some corners are going to be cut.

Indie show criticism wouldn't get as much pushback if the majority of it was actual constructive criticism instead of slander memes, 4chan buzzwords without any elaboration on anything, and/or wording everything as obnoxiously and extreme as possible

Mahershala Ali voicing his character Brendan, leader of the Bandits, in LAIKA's ‘WILDWOOD’.
I always forget Jimmi Simpson (Abaddon from Haunted Hotel and one of the McPolyes from It's Always Sunny) was in Psych during all the Ying Yang episodes
Hey so for everyone who didn't vote in 2024 or said "Voting doesn't matter" or is voting for a third party, do you want what happened in 2016 and 2024 to happen a third god damn time? Voting is free mind you

You can smell the fear with every dollar he spends.
For years, Musk has acted like the rule of law doesn't apply to him.
He bought political influence at the cost of what little was left of US democracy. It kept him from repercussions, but it also sealed his fate. Now he has to spend nonstop to keep the people he buys elected.
Elon's biggest fear is that honest people, such as James Talarico, get elected. Elon needs people he can buy, and he needs a culture where that's OK.
