It's crazy that countries like Switzerland or the Netherlands don't grow a single cocoa bean but make billions more off chocolate than the West African who do the grueling labor
We supply 70%+ of the world's raw cocoa but only retain about 6% of the chocolate industry

To all those who believe (and act as if) Covid is "over" –
the US just hit *1 million new Covid cases a week*.
1 million. Every week.
Can you read that and still believe it's "over"?
If you can, what does that say about you?

Good grief, mindfulness against virusses. It's your poor mindset that is to blame for getting ill, not a virus. Anything but actual disease prevention.
And of course it's 'sniffles, colds, a flu' - anything but the continuous stream of year-round sars-cov2.

It’ll be the same for the 14th wave, and the others to come, probably.

A good friend of mine has been an inpatient in a major Belfast hospital for the past few days, and I've been visiting every day. It's been heartening to see quite a few other visitors wearing masks - many well-fitted FFP2s. However, I have yet to see a single staff member masked.

Britain killed over hundred thousand people in Kenya because they were fighting for freedom. France killed over one million Algerians because they were fighting for freedom. Belgium killed over ten million Congolese. The west has no right to call anybody a dictator.

this has always been pretty common but people still think if they get only a flu test and it's positive it's the only thing they have
