Speaker Announcement: Don Tsell
What happens when Bitcoin media, community and self-sufficiency all meet in one person?
We’re excited to welcome Don Tsell to Sovereignty Summit 2027.
Don is a respected producer, agent and operator in the Bitcoin media space. He is Executive Producer of The Maxis Club Show and its spinoff, Tselly and Frens, and supports creators, shows and strategic partnerships across the wider Bitcoin ecosystem.
But Don’s work doesn’t stop at media.
He also owns Chicken Tender Farms, an off-grid bird farm built around self-sufficiency and self-sovereignty, where even the waste has a purpose — including using bird manure as part of the energy story around Bitcoin mining.
That mix of media, community, Bitcoin and practical self-reliance makes Don a natural fit for Sovereignty Summit.
At the Summit, he’ll bring a grounded perspective on what sovereignty looks like when it moves beyond theory and into the way we work, build, communicate and live.

Combined with the fact that, as EU residents, you won't be able to open a bank account outside the EU starting next year, if I were you I'd be at least "mildly" concerned.

Replying to @theswansjr
I just came this quote by John Kenneth Galbraith:
‘A constant in the history of money is that every remedy is reliably a source of new abuse.’
Coinage solved verification problems of raw gold and silver pieces but enabled debasement. 🤷♀️
Deposit banking solved portability problems but concentrated the metal and invited fractional-reserve risk. 🤷♀️
Central banking solved private-bank instability but put the gold under state control and made suspension of convertibility a policy tool... 🤷♀️

Serious question. Are we watching a coordinated attempt to convince Bitcoiners that self-custody is too dangerous?

4 roky dělám podcast. 🎙️
Pomalu se blížíme ke 100 dílům.
Kdyby mi tohle někdo řekl, když jsem začínal s bitcoinem, neuvěřím.
Díky všem, kteří jste se mnou a podporujete mě jakkoliv. Bez vás by to nebylo. 🧡
