Had an amazing time at @ClemsonTigers last night while we checked @ClemsonFB off as the 96th team on our journey to see every FBS college football team in the country. It’s a great place for a game with incredible people!

In 2002, Iowa dominated Minnesota 45-21 at the Metrodome and finished off an 8-0 conference record, clinching a share of the Big Ten title.
After the game, over 10,000 Hawkeye fans stormed their field. When Minneapolis PD tried to get them off the field, they swarmed to the south end zone and took down the goalpost then started parading around the stadium.
After a few laps, they took the goalpost apart and brought sections out of the exits. Only a small number of fans were arrested on property damage charges.
This remains a sore point in Minnesota’s football history and a legendary moment in Iowa’s.

• Hawai‘i @ Northern Illinois is a conference game between schools separated by roughly 4,200 miles. Hawai‘i would have a shorter trip to Tokyo, Guam OR Mexico City!

Been doing some point spread research on Auburn-Georgia, and noticed something interesting.
Since 1976 (50 years), a double-digit underdog has won the game outright 5 times.
Four of them took place in 1986 (Georgia won), 1996 (Georgia), 2006 (Georgia) and 2016 (Georgia). The other was 1999 (Auburn won).
Georgia is a 21-point favorite this year (2026).

He can't stop trimming it b/c he thinks he's just 1 more cut away from it being perfect.

What do Iowa State RB Aiden Flora and Heisman Trophy winner Vince Young have in common? After Saturday, they are the only players in Big 12 history with 2 pass TD, 2 rush TD and 200 rush yards in the same game after Flora did it against West Virginia.
Oh and Flora scored the game-winning TD with 1:57 to go in the Cyclones 45-42 win 🌪️
