wow MK so cryptic! Its straight up irl religious terminology delivered in a fictional setting with some context changed, ofc american atheists will find it "so cryptic" To me, it sounds like stuff I've already read on irl manuals.

I am so sick of these retarded takes, specially coming from people who are unwilling to apply or voice the support the means they praise in modern times. Cowards y'all, cowards.
Absolutely. I am forever grateful and happy that the Goths liberated Italia from non-European influence; i.e. restoring the genetic composition of the peninsula to its previous European levels. What happened was the following: Rome mass-imported slaves, many of whom from the Empire's possessions from the other side of the Mediterranean. This, coupled with ‘normal’ immigration – especially following the horrifying Edict of Caracalla in AD 212 – caused the population of Italia to become less European. Following the heroic conquest (a European Reconquista, if you will) by the Goths, the population returned to being European (as shown by recent archaeogenetic studies). I sometimes see the question: Are Italians White? Yes, they are. They cluster with other Europeans genetically. And that is thanks to the Goths. I am, of course, simplifying matters somewhat, but I wanted to share this nonetheless. Good stuff!

Fui al médico por manos acorchadas con neuropatía. La médico sudamericana: Eso es ansiedad. Tiene usted que respirar así (empieza a hacer una respiración absurda). Síntomas no mejoran. Insisto. Otro médico me manda RM. Resultado: Dos hernias cervicales. Nos están matando.

celts/whites don't have a monopoly over "Indo-Europeans" ffs they literally belong to the inferior western branch of Indo-europeans. being fair doesn't mean same people. brown Roman emperors doesn't become Indian just because they were brown/olive and spoke IE language

"The fantasy she created mattered more to her than the actual person in front of her" you summarized modern women here.
Anakin did not kill Padmé. The medical droid even said she was physically healthy, but she had simply lost the will to live. She chose to die. Her love for Anakin was never unconditional. It was conditional on him remaining loyal to a Republic that was already rotten, run by a corrupt Senate, manipulated by a Sith, and happy to send clones and Jedi to die in an endless war it refused to end. The moment Anakin rejected that system, she could no longer reconcile the man she claimed to love with the idealized version of him she had built in her head: the good Jedi, the loyal servant of the Republic. The fantasy she created mattered more to her than the actual person in front of her, and it even mattered more than the two children she was about to bring into the world. She had the strength to fight the Trade Federation, to challenge the Senate, to stand up to Anakin when it suited her principles, but she could not find the will to live for Luke and Leia once Anakin stopped performing the role she needed him to play? She did not die because of the Force choke, but because she would rather abandon her children than accept a reality in which Anakin had chosen her (and their children) over a failing, corrupt Republic. The writers made that clear.

"Why are you expecting an 18 year old to automatically have a fully worked and unshakable concept of the world if you didn't teach it to them?" My father only taught me love for my roots and I worked my way around into being a traditionalist. The problem is women.
I have 8 years experience in the Canadian university system. Almost half of that was during the height of "Woke 1.0". I was also within the liberal arts (philosophy, Greek & Roman studies). University students are affected in their attitudes and ideology primary by peers, not professors. They go to parties, they join social clubs, and they are unleashed from their parents. For young adults who have never had any form of real independence before and have been extremely sheltered, this can have a dramatic affect. Secondarily they are exposed to ideas that can break apart their often patchwork and ill-conceived conception of the world that their parents never properly helped them develop, picked up purely through some comments around the house and Fox News playing somewhere in the background. Your children have agency, and so do you, if you choose to exercise it. Why didn't you "program" them? Why are you expecting an 18 year old to automatically have a fully worked and unshakable concept of the world if you didn't teach it to them? And if that worldview can be so easily destroyed by a couple university courses, then how powerful or truthful is it? I have never seen a university professor make someone mentally unwell, or even directly change their political views. Most interactions with professors are limited, especially in early years due to the large class sizes. Most professors I have had try to present themselves in a politically neutral way, with maybe the occasional joke or jab at a conservative political figure. Professors will expose young adults to information and ideas they may not have considered through their course material and assignments, but it is always the individual who makes the decision whether to agree or disagree with those ideas. The worst thing I experienced was a contract instructor (non tenured) going on a rant about how racist JRR Tolkien was, and fantasy in general. I argued the point with him before the class, then promptly dropped so I wouldn't have to put up with his stupidity. I submitted a complaint against him. On the other side I had a professor who was a right-wing anti-communist who used to go on rants against The Chinese Communist Party for absolutely no reason, and with no relevance to the course material. You should be building up your kids so that they are mentally prepared to interact with and counter wrong ideas. If your beliefs are not able to stand up to push-back in real life interactions and require your own children to be sheltered away from other ideas in order to be maintained, they are either not fully understood or they are not based on truth. Yet frankly the girl below seems perfectly fine and healthy in both images. Tattoos are not my thing, but young people do go through such periods where they want to form an image. Would someone make the same post about a young boy and then compare it t when he became a biker dude, or a skin-head with a swastika tat on his neck? Was his professor to blame?

In fact you can be both without any problem, ask your average chinese, thai, japanese or mongol. Buddha Dharma does not forbid other practices that are wholesome.
I already explained this dude. I have nothing against Pagans, I like them but I am convinced by Buddhism. I just am not convinced by Paganism I would need to know what Paganism says about reality is actually true. No, this doesn’t mean I need a supernatural sign, but I would need a more convincing argument Once again, yes I know my ancestors were Pagan. Still doesn’t change my requirement. Still doesn’t change that I would need a better explanation for reality. That stuff, the metaphysics, is very finely tuned in Buddhism and I agree with it I don’t even know for sure that the majority of what modern Pagans believe is actually what their ancestors believed since Christianity destroyed so much stuff. Most of the Pagans I know will say yes, they follow the authentic teachings of their ancestral faith. But I don’t know if they’re simply mistaken. I genuinely am not sure if crucial things about their faiths got destroyed and tragically became lost. I’ve heard the explanations for this before, but I still am just not convinced. It is Buddhism I am convinced of and that is why I am Buddhist.

Reminds me of my mates who compete and work at security everytime some arab squares up to them. They look him up, coffee at hand, and laugh before sweeping them and going "look where you step mate, lemme help you to get up" lmao
One thing about pro fighters is that they never want to fight. They know they can k!ll you, that’s why they avoid it. This guy didn’t want to fight clearly but the other one is a fool, you don’t even know who he is😭 The part he clipped him on the floor and sat comfortably is just too funny to me😭 His wife is also too proud😅😅

"For centuries, European soldiers told stories about swords from the Middle East that could slice a silk scarf in midair and cut through armor without dulling. They called it Damascus steel." No lmao
For centuries, European soldiers told stories about swords from the Middle East that could slice a silk scarf in midair and cut through armor without dulling. They called it Damascus steel. The steel didn't actually start in Damascus. It started in southern India and Sri Lanka, where smiths made something called wootz. They sealed iron and plant material inside clay crucibles and heated them in furnaces for hours. What came out were small ingots of steel with far more carbon than most iron of the time. Those ingots were traded across the Indian Ocean and the Persian world, and smiths in the Middle East forged them into blades. When those blades were polished and etched, a pattern appeared on the surface. Swirling bands of light and dark, like flowing water or wood grain. Nobody had painted it on. It came from inside the metal itself. The blades had a reputation for being hard enough to hold a razor edge but tough enough not to shatter, which was the hardest balance in sword making. Then, sometime around the 1700s and 1800s, the knowledge died out. Smiths stopped being able to make true wootz Damascus blades, and nobody wrote down exactly how it had been done. For about two hundred years, metallurgists tried to recreate it and failed. In the 1990s, a materials scientist named John Verhoeven and a blacksmith named Alfred Pendray made a breakthrough. They found that the patterns depended on tiny traces of elements like vanadium in the original Indian ore. Those impurities helped form the bands as the steel was worked. When the old ore sources were exhausted or changed, the magic may have disappeared with them, even if the smiths were still doing everything right. In 2006, German researchers looked at a 17th-century Damascus sabre under an electron microscope and reported finding carbon nanotubes and nanowires inside the steel. Medieval smiths had been producing nanostructures without having any idea they existed. And the silk scarf story? The most famous version of it comes from Sir Walter Scott's 1825 novel The Talisman, where Saladin shows off his blade to Richard the Lionheart. It's fiction. The real swords didn't need the legend.

A good death. Violent and Natural. Wish we could all be so lucky, instead of rotting away in old age, long past our use has expired, clinging to a disgusting simulacrum of life like a coward afraid to face death.
This is making me so emotional actually. He got to experience this

Being an aragorn was a pre ww2 thing. We live in the downfall of civilization. We need tribal warchiefs.
This feels very much like saying "don't be saggitarian be ariean" and it waters man down. We need our Conans and our Aragorns. We need whatever we can get.
