Meri Kirihimete! After I accidentally threw away all the lab Christmas decorations earlier in tbe year, the team had to improvise. Test tubes with colored liquids is totally festive 🎄🥂🥳

On a walk around the museum district in Houston, unexpectedly came across this plaza dedicated to cancer patients, essentially on a large (Texas sized?) traffic island.

Here is some of my fantastic research team, who shouldn't have to put up this sh#t any longer. They are all capable of SO much more than standing there and looking pretty.

It was lovely to mark the end of a busy year with shared kai and a secret Santa. A lot of baking talent in this crew!

Wellington didn't exactly turn on the sunshine or warmth, but the grim weather didn't keep the crowds away. And at least there was no hail

Cleaning out the lab and discovered 2 brand new, pristine autorad cassettes ... such a blast from the past! Such a shame to just bin them - look how shiny clean they are. Does anyone have a use for them?! Can they be upcycled?!
