The @UKHSA which is meant to advise us on illnesses has not posted once about COVID over the past six weeks, despite a rise in cases and hospitalisation, amidst the media hysteria of an 'American covid' Makes you wonder why public health messaging is so poor, why more people keep falling ill with each wave, how that increases our welfare bill, and how every party complains about the rising welfare bill but is unwilling and uninterested in acknowledging that we are creating the very sick people who they spent their time criticising for falling ill because there are no mitigations in place - make it make sense 🤷 This isn't a call for lockdowns, it's a call for better messaging, provision of booster vaccines for anyone who wants one, and clean indoor air, protecting against all viruses, not just COVID- we know how to keep society healthier, why aren't these things being adopted?
