Completely cyclical ... what I was saying #USElections
HISTORY HAS SHOWN US THAT SITTING PRESIDENTS CAN ABSOLUTELY BE HAMMERED BY THE OPPOSITION PARTY IN MID-TERM ELECTIONS. FOR EXAMPLE… 2010- BARACK OBAMA- LOST 64 HOUSE SEATS 1994- BILL CLINTON- LOST 54 HOUSE SEATS 2018- DONALD TRUMP- LOST 42 HOUSE SEATS 2006- GEORGE W. BUSH- LOST 30 HOUSE SEATS WHEN IT COMES TO THE SENATE… BILL CLINTON LOST 9 IN 1994 BARACK OBAMA LOST 9 IN 2014 RONALD REAGAN LOST 8 IN 1986 Just some perspective for tonight.

Historically speaking a second term President always seem to lose their midterms before their time is up. 2014 (Obama) Republicans won a net gain of 9 Senate seats, taking control of the chamber with a 54–46 majority. 2014 U.S. House of Representatives: Republicans expanded their majority with a net gain of 13 seats, bringing their total to 247 seats against 188 for Democrats. The writing was on the wall here. #USPolitics

Watch this space. DeSantis has positioned himself very well to emerge as a right-wing critic, who never aligned himself with the administration, to succeed MAGA from the anti-corruption, anti-war flank.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis: Some of these Republicans are saying, "Oh, well, the gas, don't worry. It's no big deal." Or they're trying to blame Biden. No, no. Listen, we've just got to be honest. Gas is higher. It hurts people, working-class people, and it's higher because of the Iran conflict. That's just the fact. If you can't admit that to voters, then you're gaslighting them, and they're not going to listen to you on other things.
