We'd like to thank the creators of Vicars town creations for seeing sense and now removing the video and its links. We've also received an apology from them, which is gratefully accepted and would like to thank everyone from the fandom for helping to get hold of them and consider the matter closed. We do understand the excitement that Christophers event generated, and that some could not make that night. Which is why we are working hard with the unlikely fandom to get the DVD of the show, with many unseen interviews ready. Please be patient, we're getting there. @unlikelyfandom

Really annoyed to find Christophers event footage from 85 years of letting off steam has been put online illegally. If anyone has heard of Vicarstown creations, and know who they are, can you please ask them to message us and explain their actions. Sorry to have to put this on here, but it seems to be the only way to get social media users accountable for their actions rather than hide behind the keyboard. We and Christopher are trying to get his books back into print, and things like this only help to weaken our cause. Fans, by all means express yourself, use the stories, have at it. But please don't think it's okay to steal others work and post it online 'For archival purposes'.

It's official everyone! The pre-orders for the book are now starting to go live! The book will go on sale on the 14th September and will be available as hardback, and is already available to pre-order on Barnes and Noble. Due to the amount of colour photos in the book (Over 200 of them) it will be priced at £22.99. Watch this space for more links as they appear. We are delighted to announce that Christopher and the Full-Steam-Ahead team will be returning to the Swanage Railway for their Autumn Steam Gala in September. We will be at Harmans Cross Station 'Down platform' for a special launch event of the much anticipated George & Wilbert Awdry's wonderful collaboration of 'The Canadian Wonderland Tour 1980'. This book is a must for railway enthusiasts and fans of the Awdry family alike. Detailing the journey the Awdry brothers took, travelling across Canada in 1980. The book will go on worldwide sale on September 14th, but you can buy an exclusive advanced copy only at this event on September 12th between 10:30 - 14:00. Don't forget the best way to get to Harmans Cross Station will be via travelling on their trains which will be hauled by a fantastic roster of steam locomotives including world famous A1 Class 'Tornado'.
