A rare breed it seems! Right O then in the interest of still trying to further Percy research is anyone able to provide examples of British/British built rear bunker tank engines? In order to keep the overhang distance and weight to a minimum I thought they were uncommon but a

These unusual views of No.5 'Midlander' date from March 1957, the day she arrived.
Unloaded from a lorry at Wharf, her first duty was to push No.1 'Talyllyn' onto the same trailer for transport to Gibbons Bros. for overhaul!

LNER 2859 B-17/5 on the then-new 70 ft turntable at Norwich Thorpe adjacent to the station. The loco had just been rebuilt; it had been streamlined for the new East Anglian service. Apart from the streamlining, which added 3.25 tons, 2859 and 2870 differed from the standard B-17s, having chime whistles, longer buffers, an extra lubricator, group standard tenders fitted with streamlined fairings, and an additional ventilator fitted to the cab roof.

The silly trucks were sunk."

Did a ruff edit sometime back but loving Daedalus take 🤩
Genuinely is a shame the Dalby depiction was chosen for the show and now basically locked in as the default.
