This is egregious and will not be tolerated in LA. I’m engaging the Attorney General’s Office to investigate and prosecute any wrongdoing by these federal agents. Additionally, I referred this matter to the Office of U.S. Representative Robert Garcia, the ranking Democrat leading oversight on federal immigration enforcement abuses.
We beat Trump and ICE in court, and new state laws have implemented accountability measures for ICE agents to protect our communities.

The uncommitted movement in 2024, which effectively supported and aided Trump, was one of the most unproductive, idiotic things I have ever seen in politics. I have criticized the involved leftists for it practically every single day.
Stevens is now essentially spearheading her own version of that, and endorsing the idea that Democrats should refrain from supporting the Democratic nominee, which only serves to help the Republican.
Not standing behind the nominee, whether you're progressive OR centrist, is idiotic, counterproductive, and an effective betrayal of your party.
