BREAKING: Flavio Bolsonaro has defeated Brazilian President Lula da Silva in the first round of Brazil’s presidential election.
Bolsonaro received 47.3% of the vote, compared to 44.8% for Lula, with 98% of votes counted.
Neither candidate reached the 50% threshold needed to win outright, sending the election to an October 25th runoff.
This marks marking Lula’s first presidential election defeat since 1998.

Our rare earths Investment @PowerMin_PNN $PNN (OTCQB: PEIMF) just defined a maiden Exploration Target for its rare earths project in Brazil.
The target:
A 9.2 to 10.7mt at 7.8% to 9.2% TREO (Total Rare Earth Oxides) with an estimated 1.3% to 1.6% MREO (Magnet Rare Earth Oxides).
Not massive from a tonnage perspective, BUT very high grade and similar in size to ASX listed Brazilian Rare Earths.

$PNN has defined a maiden JORC Exploration Target at Morro do Ferro - 9.2 to 10.7 million tonnes at approximately 7.8% to 9.2% TREO, containing an estimated 1.3% to 1.6% MREO - a high-grade magnet REE system, Manifesto de Mina tenure, Minas Gerais Priority Project status. Drilling and met work ongoing. MRE targeted later this year.
This exploration target is only for the high grade zone with a moderate zone to follow.
BRE Monte Alto: 3.4Mt @ 11.3% TREO MRE (Indicated + Inferred)
Different geology and stage. Same point: high-grade Brazilian hard-rock REE is scarce.
Only a handful of these projects globally. A big end to 2026 coming up.

The high grade from surface with shallow, massive, weathered, free-dig mineralisation is much preferred over a folded hard-rock system whose best new intercepts sit well down-dip and will need blasting, selectivity and a higher strip. Mineralisation of these types can be thin (deformed dykes), separated by baron making it difficult to mine.
Morro has the varying REE with gradual grade contacts enabling pit size and design to be optimised purely on economics, not limited by geological structure or lithology boundaries.

Another follow up though for $PNN but on the hydromet stage. Gives a complete picture on my theory on met and the ideal "base case" I'm looking to be proven in the company's own met testing. Like the prior post, this is a simplified thinking of the impacts.
Some interesting chatter on $PNN which I am long some. I have some thoughts on the mineralogy and potential met below. The thinking is based on work from other REE names and talking to those with mineralogy experience.
$PNN Hole 2 assays from the Morro do Ferro diamond program are imminent.
Hoping this hole exceeds Hole 1, it will further support the emerging picture of a high-grade, magnet-REE-focused system with useful HREE credits.
Been looking into the Erbium numbers from hole 1 post reading the article below:

includes:
39.35m at 206.2ppm Er2O3 from 14m
These grades are exceptional over such a thickness. From my data only Mount Weld has some reported individual higher grades, but I do not have the intervals data.
