I asked the kids to give a one-word reflection of the year - Glad to see how many positive words were used! I will miss this great group of 6th graders next year!

Found out today that I’ll be presenting at this year’s @OCTELA - excited to do this!!
Our monthly open mic lunch was fantastic! The original pieces presented were awesome!! Love their creativity and how they took risks in their writing.
Created our own class rubrics today for our mini-memoirs. This was a first for my students. How did they like it?...and I quote “Can we do this again?” ❤️❤️❤️ #wearemaumee
