If you are 40yo and over get your yearly screening mammogram. High risk ladies can start screening earlier. Places to get your mammogram 🧵: (I’ll add more as I get them) 1. Apex Radiology - Molynes Road Branch 2. Apex Radiology - White River North Branch

Many of you want to help but sometimes just don’t know how. Here’s one way. It’s CSEC/CAPE fee time. Call your alma mater or a high school near you and offer to pay for a few subjects for a student whose fees are not fully subsidized. For some families, even one subject makes a difference. You could be the answer to a prayer today. 🙏🏽❤️

Creole nations what do you call this? Africa didn’t disappear with those who were taken across the Atlantic —it showed up in the food. 🌍🏝️ The Akan of Ghana 🇬🇭 call it dukunah, meaning “sweet mouth.” In Antigua 🇦🇬 , that Akan name survives. In Jamaica 🇯🇲 , a related version is called blue draws, while in St. Martin🇸🇽 and Dominica 🇩🇲, it’s known as khankey and penmi in St Lucia 🇱🇨 The ingredients and starches changed with the islands—sweet potato in some versions, corn in others—but the African food tradition traveled with the people. Different islands. Different names. Same African footprint.

TikTok is eating away at people’s brains. We need to get rid of that app immediately. Our future depends on it.

The facade of social media influence has ruined the critical thinking capability of a significant portion of an entire generation it seems. One Ian Boyne on the app as the young folks say. Put some respect on the late, great man’s name.
Twitter family, I was on TikTok Live earlier but couldn’t speak as freely as I wanted, so let me say this here. The argument that @JaiiFrais has made a bigger impact on Jamaica than Ian Boyne is one I simply cannot understand. (HE IS SAYING THIS BTW) No disrespect to @JaiiFrais , but Ian Boyne’s body of work is in a different historical context. Journalism from 1975, 30 years of Profile, 1,300+ interviews, Issues and Answers, Religious Hardtalk, decades of writing, numerous journalism awards, the Order of Distinction, and serving as Chief State Liaison across the administrations of Andrew Holness, Bruce Golding and Portia Simpson Miller, as well as the Office of the Governor-General. That is not just a media career. That is a national legacy. People can debate contemporary influence all they want, but comparing individual achievements should begin with the scale, longevity and documented record of the work. Ian Boyne’s contribution to Jamaican journalism and public life deserves to be understood on its own terms. Some legacies are simply too substantial to reduce to a social-media comparison.

Nobody a really post about their normal lives. Broke days. Missed bills. Bloating. Losses etc. So many may think that not doing so well is the outlier and they are alone. It’s the opposite. Life is lifeing for most of us.

Remember when you used to see the escallion in your beef patty?
I wish patties were like how they were in the early 2000s. Have good meat and you coulda see the seasoning.

🌳 London's once green parks are now straw coloured after 50 days without rain. Take a trip over some of London's parks with the BBC News helicopter. The UK experienced its hottest day of the year, with 38.1C recorded at Kew Gardens on Thursday. The intense heat has made 2026 the first year on record to see temperatures reach 37C on three separate days.

For a country that is overly dependent on the service sector, it is amazing how poor customer service is across the island! I pray that a wave of service excellence hits our people in the next few years...starting with our educational institutions 🙏🏿🇯🇲

⚠️ There's a guy that parks around Kingston opening his car bonnet and begging for gas money (claiming he ran out & need to urgently get to ABC place). Tonight he was parked across from Sovereign on the boulevard, a few weeks ago he was near Mega Mart on Waterloo.
