We have been in communication and coordination with SOE in the impacted counties. In St. Lucie County, we are in constant contact with SOE Walker to ensure any issues on the ground are dealt with swiftly. In Brevard County, SOE Bobanic and Sheriff Ivey continue to handle issues as they arise expeditiously as a result of localized flooding. I encourage all voters in these communities to refer to their supervisor’s web pages for the most up to date information.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. James Uthmeier is the best Attorney General in the country. He protects the most vulnerable and stands up to the most depraved. Most importantly he’s a good man. Vote @JamesUthmeierFL tomorrow. Florida deserves the best top cop.

👇👇👇 Gov @RonDeSantis endorsed Attorney General candidate @JamesUthmeierFL. He won’t let you down.
It has been an honor to serve along-side @RonDeSantis from the beginning, and it’s an honor to have his endorsement for election tomorrow, Nov 3! I will continue his legacy as we keep backing law enforcement and driving record low crime — fighting predators and big tech companies that hurt our kids — and defending parent’s God-given rights to raise their children free from radical indoctrination and sexualization.

Florida Republicans listen to @RonDeSantis. Open your phones, block off some time on Tuesday, and get out there and vote! And if you’ve already voted find a friend who hasn’t and tell them the same.
🚨 JUST IN: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis BLASTS this urgent message calling on every Republican statewide to vote in droves this Tuesday — or Democrats will RIP APART the state "PLEASE go out and vote on Tuesday." Democrats just won the final day of in person early voting by +15K ballots with mostly blue-leaning counties open "We've done so much in the great state of Florida. We've led the nation on so many things. We got to keep that momentum going — I'm asking you to vote for Republicans up and down the ballot." "Vote yes on Amendment 3 to lower your property taxes. Do not give the Democrats an inch. If they get an inch, they'll take a mile." "We don't want to end up like California. We don't want to end up like Illinois. We've got to keep the momentum going. Please vote Republican on Tuesday." ☀️ MAKE IT HAPPEN. Most red counties did NOT count mail ballots today, but the current statewide advantage is R+134K 🟥 We want to swamp them Tuesday!

Proud to fly alongside @BETA_aircraft as we kick off @MyFDOT ’s eIPP, retracing the world’s first scheduled airline flight, flown by Tony Jannus in 1914. From Jannus to electric flight, American aviation keeps moving forward. 🇺🇸

The demonstration included Joby (eVTOL) and Beta (CTOL) aircraft. It was neat to see the landings at TPA but also observe how quiet they are compared to traditional rotary fixed wing aircraft. They also have very intuitive controls. At the simulator we have at SunTrax Mason (8yrs old) was able to fly a simulated route from TPA to the Raymond James Stadium area. He landed hard, but safely.
In 1914, thousands gathered on the shores of Tampa Bay to witness Tony Jannus make history with the world’s first commercial airline flight. Today at the same site, we celebrated the first flights of “flying cars” in Florida—electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft retracing Jannus’ historic route.   Today’s flight event, which featured three types of eVTOL aircraft, was part of a series of demonstrations through the FAA’s Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Integration Pilot Program. I’m proud of Florida’s leading role in this national program and the years of preparation that brought us here. We’ve made infrastructure investments, enacted innovation-friendly policies, and worked hard to usher in a new era of transportation here in the Sunshine State.   Florida has long been a staging ground for the future. Today’s historic AAM flights have proven that Florida remains on the cutting edge of transportation innovation.

This morning, history was made in Tampa Bay with Florida’s first Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) electric aircraft demonstration flights. From the first commercial airline flight over Tampa Bay in 1914, to today’s AAM demonstrations along that same historic route, Florida has long been a launchpad for new ideas that shape the future of transportation.   I’m proud that Florida is a place where groundbreaking transportation technologies can be developed and deployed. Thanks to strategic investments, education partnerships, and policies that promote innovation, we’re ensuring that Florida continues to lead the way in aviation and aerospace.

JUST IN: Gov. Ron DeSantis highlights Polk County’s 775-acre SunTrax research site and the launch of SunTrax Air for advanced air mobility testing — saying today’s Tampa demo flight came out of that work. @GovRonDeSantis: “Our SunTrax facility down the road in Polk County is a good example of the commitment. It's a 775-acre research and testing facility.” “But we announced that we were going to have SunTrax Air that would be focused on the testing of advanced air mobility vehicles... we're going to do the demonstration flight, and that's what brings us here today.”

First AAM demonstration flight with two different companies, Joby and Beta. The flight commemorated the first commercial flight, which took off from St Pete and landed in Tampa, by Tony Jannus in 1914.
