ICYMI - A leaked memo names Illinois Governor @JBPritzker in a coordinated plan among governors to declare the federal government illegitimate and seize its functions through the 2026 and 2028 election cycles. According to the documentation, the scheme proposed that states work together to take over federal authority. Massachusetts rejected the proposal, but California and Illinois both expressed openness to participationβ€”with the condition that another state move first. Pritzker's office has declined to respond to questions about the governor's involvement in the arrangement. State Senator Darren Bailey released the recording publicly, demanding transparency about Illinois's potential role in what amounts to an extraordinary power grab. The details raise critical questions about private conversations among sitting governors and whether they're seriously exploring ways to undermine federal legitimacy for political advantage. Is this how you repay the men who died for the freedom you found here? πŸ“· Our Marines bled and died on Iwo Jima to raise that flag and give this country the freedom that millions flock to! Now we have people living here, wearing another country's flag on their back, taking a sledgehammer to their sacrifice and tearing down America from within! If you love another flag more than the one men died for, you don't deserve to be here!

Today we have @BernieSanders and Thomas Sowell, two gentlemen with rather different ideas about wealth, greed, and what constitutes economic justice. Here's the question: Is becoming extraordinarily wealthy evidence that someone else has been impoverished? Bernie sees extreme wealth as a problem demanding political intervention. Sowell challenges the assumption that wealth is a fixed quantity, where one person's gain necessarily means another person's loss. Now, wealth can certainly be acquired through exploitation, corruption, political favoritism, or outright theft. Nobody gets a free moral pass for having a large bank account. But neither does accumulating wealth automatically establish that someone has been cheated. The interesting question isn't how much someone has. It's how they acquired it, what value they created, and whether anyone was actually wronged in the process. But why investigate those tedious details when we can simply declare everyone richer than ourselves morally suspicious?

Look at this cartoon and tell me it doesn't nail exactly where we are right now. On the left, a burned-out factory, graffiti, and rubble. On the right, gleaming towers, clean water, and a Tesla flying over the skyline. And right in the middle, a guy in a Che Guevara shirt screaming that capitalism has failed. You can't make this stuff up. Earlier this month, Elon Musk rolled out a new Tesla Roadster that launched off a ramp on rocket thrusters and pulled a full barrel roll in midair. His rocket company lands boosters back on the pad and beams internet from space to people all over the world. That's what builders do. They take the risk, they eat the failures, they try again, and the whole country gets richer because of it. Now look at the other side. @BernieSanders has spent most of the last 45 years on the government payroll. He has never built a company. Never invented a product. Never created a single thing anyone lined up to buy. What he built is a career telling Americans that the people who create wealth owe everybody else a cut. And somehow the man who rails against millionaires ended up a millionaire with three houses. Nice work if you can get it. And this isn't the fringe anymore. New York Democrats put a self-described democratic socialist in charge of America's biggest city, and the party's young activists treat Bernie like a prophet. The choice in front of this country could not be more stark. One side builds flying cars. The other side wants to tax the people who build them until they quit. One side gives you skylines. The other gives you rubble and a lecture about fairness. So which way, America? The darkness of socialism or the bright future of capitalism?

The comparison below looks at the first 19 months of each president’s term. πŸ“· OVERALL CONSUMER PRICE INCREASES πŸ“· Biden (Jan. 2021–Aug. 2022): +13.2% πŸ“· Trump (Jan. 2025–Aug. 2026): +5.4% πŸ“· Other price increases: Biden vs. Trump β€’ Gasoline: +68.1% vs. +30.6% β€’ Fuel Oil: +91.6% vs. +42.7% β€’ Natural Gas: +48.0% vs. +8.3% πŸ“· What does this tell us? Based on these figures, overall consumer prices rose approximately 2.4 times as much during Biden’s first 19 months as during Trump’s first 19 months of his second term. And this doesn’t even include the alarming increases many families experienced in healthcare, health insurance, and car insurance during the previous administration! There are always multiple factors that impact the economy, and both administrations faced challenges. But when you compare the numbers, I think it’s pretty clear which administration delivered better results for America! πŸ“· πŸ“· Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics β€” Consumer Price Index (CPI)

The descendants of Blackfeet Chief John Two Guns White Calf want the @Commanders Redskins name and logo restored, arguing that the image honors their ancestor and preserves his legacy. Meanwhile, Native American advocacy groups have opposed the former branding, calling it offensive. One side sees disrespect, while the other sees family pride and cultural heritage. So who should have the greater say when it comes to honoring an ancestor, his own descendants or the activists who oppose the image?

Monica Flores, an assistant registrar-recorder at the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office, told a federal court Tuesday that their citizenship check stops at whatever a voter writes on the form. That admission came just a day after the Department of Justice charged 28 people with lying on that exact form to register and vote. dailysignal.com/2026/10/23/l…
