So thrilled that Ada Twist, Scientist made her debut in the Thanksgiving Day Parade! This brainy little girl is teaching young viewers how important it is to be curious, and how anyone can be a scientist—no matter their age or background.

Please stop saying that we need to increase teacher salaries in order “recruit the best and brightest” as if the best and brightest are not currently teaching.
We need to increase teacher salaries because those currently teaching deserve and earned it.

Ever wonder what's the BEST part of you? Scholars in Ms. Albahae & Ms. Fielding’s class celebrated the “best part” of them w/these beautiful & thoughtful responses! If you ask me, I think they’re all perfect from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet! #BelieveInBuck

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was notorious for recognizing the women who came before her and fighting to pave the way for those to come after. Today, on her birthday, we honor her life and the legacy, and we recommit to fighting for equality and justice for all.

During a Math at the Brooklyn Avenue School, Ms. Smithwicks’s 6th grade class used BREAKOUT ROOMS. The students loved the activity as it allowed them to work collaboratively, use their voice, & help their peers.
