WLB Kindergarteners learned about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. They thought about ways we can be peaceful, kind, and helpful. “Let us live together in peace and love in a beloved community.” @ValleyStreamWLB @VS24District @Ms_Sloboda @MrsGaddy1 @DonSturz #LookfortheAWESOME

We read the story, “Chrysanthemum”and discussed with our families how they chose our name and the special meaning behind our name. This lesson made us feel so special and valued. I was touched by all of the stories. Thank you PNW BOCES for this lesson. #LookForTheAwesome

K students in classes KW and KS had a blast finding similarities with classmates. We added to our towers every time we found something in common. It was #awesome ! “Friendship is born at the moment when one person says to another: What! You too? I thought I was the only one.” 💜
