The Minister of Education has 3 Parliamentary Assistants to help him do his job. Teachers with classes of 30 and nonverbal students with Autism who run off school property get no Educational Assistants and are expected to keep everyone safe AND to teach. Let’s start there. #OntEd
Every major Ontario teachers’ union has a strike vote scheduled for this November. #canlab

This is the political equivalent of a two-minute stay in the penalty box. This government doesn’t care about taxpayer accountability. #onpoli
Why are you appointing scammers to cabinet roles Doug? What does Cho have on you? #onpoli

So the guy who STOLE FROM THE PUBLIC now reports to the guy who STOLE FROM HIS MOTHER??

NEW: Former tourism minister Stan Cho, who resigned from Premier Ford's cabinet after facing criticism for spending thousands on Toronto hotel rooms despite living in the city, has been named parliamentary assistant to Education Minister Paul Calandra. #onpoli
Well. September has come and gone.
First referendum was a dud. Probably won’t get another one, ma’am.
Replying to @Ms_Anchovy @hypocotylarch
Yup Pretty sure Alberta will vote to leave if carney gets in! Maybe not the first referendum
But once the Carneau great province wide depression hits just like PETS in the 1980's (with 18% mortgage rates) people will realize we have to get out to survive!

It was my honour to celebrate the naming of Brian Mulroney Elementary School in Ottawa.
The new school welcomes nearly 700 students this year and is the first public school in Canada named after the late Rt. Hon. Brian Mulroney, Canada’s 18th Prime Minister, honouring his life, legacy and lasting contributions to our country.
Thank you to Mrs. Mulroney and the entire family for joining us to mark this special occasion. It’s fitting that a new generation of students will learn in a school bearing his name and be inspired by his legacy of public service.

Hey parents, y'all better wake the eff up and support our educators come January! Doug Ford keeps gifting our tax dollars away to business pals while we ALL get less, especially our kids.

NEW: In his first year running Ontario's largest school board, the Ford government's TDSB supervisor logged more than twice as many meetings with the board's $20B real estate arm than he did with parent groups, calendar entries reveal.
The FOI records offer a rare glimpse into the supervisor’s day-to-day work, raising concerns that parents have taken a back seat under provincial supervision. Story: thetrillium.ca/news/educatio…
Well. Will you look at that. 👀 #cdnpoli
I’m thankful for a long weekend. Happy bird eating and couch rotting to my fellow educator friends this weekend. I’m already tired of this year. My countdown continues.

Fuck off.
On World Mental Health Day, we’re recognizing the importance of supporting student well-being and making sure young people know where to turn when they need help.
Ontario supports programs that help students navigate mental health challenges, prevent bullying, build positive relationships and access support in their schools and communities.
If you or someone you know is looking for support, resources are available at ontario.ca/page/find-mental-…

Let’s not forget who made this mess - FORD!
In 2020 he cut the red tape to expand eligibility of OSAP to private career colleges. Now he wants the OPP to investigate?!
This is like burning down your house & then asking the police to investigate the arson!
@OFLabour

BREAKING: The Ford government is calling in the OPP and asking the Auditor General to investigate the dramatic increase of OSAP loans going to private career colleges.
The government says it calling in a third-party auditor earlier this year and found "serious concerns about the integrity of the OSAP system in the private postsecondary sector."

Fucking turkey.
Ontario continues to lead the nation in eliminating interprovincial barriers that cost the Canadian economy up to $200 billion annually.
By ensuring we have free and fair trade within our own borders, we’re unlocking new opportunities for workers and industries, lowering costs and strengthening our economy for generations to come.
