Thanks for this inspiring session on multiliguality! Very recognisable. During my research on Margaret of Burgundy (countess of Hainault-Holland) I stumbled upon several instances of bilinguality among non-nobles, while even high Dutch nobles were not always fluent in French.
Next week, on Thursday 8 April, we kick off our Multilingual Literary Cultures e-workshops with a session on Multilingual Urban Reading Culture, starring @MargrietHoogvli and Jan Dumolyn. Register now!
