Why are you being this way Strawb? It’s genuinely disappointing. I want to support you I genuinely do. But you keep randomly starting drama that doesn’t need to be started. Ember has been honest about the voice changer and honest about the books. You look at the books and you only see something you disagree with on a surface level. There are a few easily possible reasons why Ember writes them that are entirely valid. 1. She just enjoys the transformation genre. She has every right to enjoy it. Lots of people do because they enjoy seeing hoe people handle dark situations psychologically. Thats why psychological has its own genre in media. 2. Each book is consistent with how it handles the topic - perhaps this suggests a connection to real life trauma she has put on the page. Who are you to judge that? 3. People are forced to transition irl all the time against their will, and manipulated into believing that they are. Capturing that in a book can prove to be a very valuable thought provoking process. As for the voice changer - I have no idea if ember is a male. But using one doesn’t just automatically mean she is either. If someone isn’t comfortable with their own voice regardless of being male or female then there is nothing wrong with using one. Ember was transparent about using it from the start. You didn’t talk to her and she has been nothing but supportive to you and Rev in the past? So why are you randomly deciding to go after her? As far as I have been told Ember has condemned transgender activism before. I don’t know the extent of that - if it’s against the idea of transgenderism or if it’s against the people manipulating the system for profit or both. But don’t you think that warrants a DM for clarification rather than trying to turn people against her when you haven’t even tried to clear it up first? —— But even still it’s her right to write these books. You have a right to your opinions on them but you don’t have the right to drag her through the mud for expressing her desire to create.
