Lots of folks buy emerging market ETFs for diversification, especially now as key US equity benchmarks sit heavily concentrated on a few names, a couple of themes and a single sector. The trouble is that many EM ETFs are looking concentrated themselves along similar lines. Performance has been great, but if diversification is what you seek, look under the hood and consider some ETF choices. Some thoughts here:

August brought the summer heat to ETFs: $180B in ETF net inflows. That pace puts 2025's massive flows record in sight already this month. Plus: new ETF launches crossed 1,000 for 2026, another record. And technical indicators (like S&P 500 MAs) suggest September could buck its seasonality trend. We'll see. @ETFDb
