Had some proud days in recent years but this one is up there with the very best! Seeing F/Lt Archie McInnes AE* flying in a Spitfire, aged 99, alongside his beloved Hawker Hurricane for a last time. The last of #thefew to ever fly in a Spitfire back in 2018. Special day 🙌🏻

Just a few months and we reach the 85th Anniversaries of the Battle of France & Battle of Britain. I’ve been so lucky to spend time with the last few of the ‘Few’ involved - just one of who is still with us aged 105! 🤯
A few things in plan to recognise & remember #LestWeForget

If you'd been at RAF Hawkinge for Christmas in 1943, you could have chosen stewed prunes for breakfast.
Stewed prunes.
Not sure that was a wise choice for those flying Spitfires 💩💩

Had a wonderful day with spectacular weather visiting the @Memorial_theFew before moving on to @MuseumKent Both are just brilliant but incredibly moving. The Few still don’t get enough recognition in my opinion. To also have some Spitfire flypasts was the cherry on the cake. #BoB
