Imagine being a senior official, a sultan, or a caaqil representing a nation and some of its citizens, yet completely losing your spine and scrambling over each other like desperate fanboys just to grab a selfie with a known treasonous war criminal like Fihima. Starstruck, bootlicking groupies the moment a Dhulbahante/Darood figure walks in, treating a war criminal like an object of worship, they have zero dignity. Those watching their representatives grovel have zero self-respect for themselves, alongside the idiots groveling on their behalf. #Somaliland @Abdirahmanirro

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ด Federal agents searched Ilhan Omarโ€™s home over paperwork her father filed... Somalilanders want to know what that father did in Hargeisa Nur Omar Mohamed came to America as a refugee in the 1990s, and the New York Post now reports he was a full colonel in dictator Siad Barreโ€™s army until the regime fell, the same army that leveled Hargeisa and killed tens of thousands of Isaaq civilians in what Somaliland calls its forgotten genocide. Saeed Ibrahim, founder of the Somaliland Chronicle, says the colonel was posted to Hargeisa while the city was being shelled, and he puts the question plainly: โ€œPerpetrators cannot claim to be refugees at the same time alongside the same people that they brutalized.โ€ Nobody has shown the colonel personally took part in the killings, and he died in 2020. Saeedโ€™s point is narrower: when a regime collapses, its officers hide among the people they ran from, and Washington deported one Barre-era colonel last year who was found driving for Uber. The congresswoman denies wrongdoing and calls the October 12 raid political. Whether her fatherโ€™s rank was ever disclosed on those forms is now the question the case may turn on. @Saeed_beeldeeq @WeTheBrandon

Somalilandโ€™s Minister of the Presidency, @khadarlooge serving under President @Abdirahmanirroโ€™s WADDANI administration, stated during a recent programme hosted by @HargeisaDebates: "The nationalisation of civilian militias, into the armed forces coupled with the 50% salary increase granted to the National Army by President Abdirahman Irroโ€™s administration, has placed an additional financial burden of US$60 million on the national budget." Minister I wish to remind you that caring for our National Army is not a financial burden to be complained about. It is a national duty and a responsibility that deserves the highest priority. The Somaliland National Army is the shield of our nation. Its brave men and women sacrifice their lives to defend our sovereignty, protect our territorial integrity, safeguard our national security, and preserve the independence of the Republic of Somaliland. They are the guardians of our nation and a force our adversaries must reckon with. They deserve respect, genuine support, and dignified treatment. Our soldiers deserve salaries sufficient to support themselves and their familiesโ€”salaries that reflect the harsh economic realities facing our people and the unprecedented cost-of-living pressures experienced during the two years of WADDANIโ€™s leadership. This comes amid soaring inflation and rising prices of essential commodities, while the WADDANI administration led by President Abdirahman Irro has yet to demonstrate a convincing and effective plan to tackle the widespread cost-of-living crisis affecting the people of Somaliland. ๐†๐Ž๐•๐„๐‘๐๐Œ๐„๐๐“ The Constitution of the Republic of Somaliland establishes the framework for national defence, public administration, and the responsibilities of the state. ๐Ÿ“Œ Article 90(4) forms part of the constitutional framework governing the Presidentโ€™s duties and powers. ๐Ÿ“Œ Article 123 addresses the role of the National Army in protecting and defending the countryโ€™s independence and sovereignty, in accordance with the Constitution and the laws of the land. ๐Ÿ“Œ Article 124 addresses the responsibilities of the Police and Custodial Corps in maintaining public security and enforcing the law. These constitutional provisions underscore the vital importance of Somalilandโ€™s security institutions to our national existence, independence, and stability. Ilhan is a witch who is ungrateful, arrogant, selfish, and corrupt. When my country and Ethiopia made an agreement regarding our port of Berbera and they agreed to recognize our country, this corrupt called us people who aren't really Somaliโ€”basically saying we're fake. Her father and most of her clan are Somalian Neo nationalists who have this dream in their heads about creating a greater Somalia that would stretch from Ethiopia all the way to Kenya. When they massacred my people and destroyed our cities, this was their plan. To the American people, when these people massacred our innocent civilians, raped our women, tortured our men, looted our cities, and threw the dead bodies into a mass graveyard . even though we shared the same religion. Do you honestly think they would treat you any better?โ€ฆ The answer is no. If Ilhan and her sick cults ever got power, they will repeat what they did to my people. God forbid. They have misused your kindness, generosity and compassion. Please be vigilant. #Somaliland #Isaaqgenocide

To those who opposed Ilhan Omar's political position, I stand with you in solidarity. We shared a common enemy. Whenever you see her face or in the news, please, remember the city of Hargeisa and the communities her father sought to destroy. We remain here, resilient and dignified. My happiness moment will be the day she is deported back to the ghetto she is from. I salute the American people.! #Somaliland

Thatโ€™s what he used to say to Oromo when he was trying to use Abiy for his Darodisim agendas. Once Abiy kicked him out, he started cursing the Oromo. The same thing will happen the day Eritreans stop entertaining him. There is no honor in Daroodism, just faqashinimo.

Hargeisa will become more than Somalilandโ€™s capital, itโ€™ll be a major international city & commercial hub, driven by innovative, welcoming natives focused on development and statehood. Surrounding cities will grow too, creating a connected metropolitan region. Haters can hate!

Fake news! The Somalia government gave them those drones to convince the world that AlShabaab poses a drone threat, because the world is tired paying their bills and ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ stop funding them. Always remember: Al-Shabaab is Somalia, and Somalia is Al-Shabaab. Theyโ€™re work together.
Al Shabaab regrouped silently now they possess Fpv drones . We are soooo fucked

I don't get how Landers side with Somalians and Faqash over Boranos or Oromos. I don't know much about Boranos in Moyale, but the enemy of my enemy is my friend. I'd need a head exam if I supported Faqash over anything else. Somali is a language many Faqash learned recently, so the fake kinship idea is false. I haven't seen Oromos committing genocide against me. If it were up to Somalians, Somaliland wouldn't exist. Why is Somaliland their proxy? The Ogaden who spoke in Burao didn't speak in their own lands. They live alongside Oromos in Jijiga and elsewhere. Xenophobia about Oromos or Ethiopians taking over Somaliland has no evidence. Address it through immigration reform. Stop the Qiiro Japan. You seem to be looking for a chance to twerk for Faqash.
I completely agree with @Abdirahman_mohd assessment. The further we drift from our natural affinity groups, fellow Muslims and other Somalis, the more we become dependent on the handful of relatively friendly states we currently have, such as Ethiopia and Israel. The greater that dependence, the more leverage those partners acquire over us, until we risk sliding from independent statehood into something closer to a vassal. No responsible leadership or people should willingly place their country in so vulnerable a position. We must therefore set emotion aside and navigate this narrow corridor with cold strategic logic. Our people are both Somali and Muslim. We should not voluntarily isolate ourselves from those broader communities. Instead, we should limit the damage any internal disagreements or negative influences can do to our concrete interests, while maximising the diplomatic, economic, and political weight that comes with belonging to them. At minimum, those relationships can serve as a counterweight that prevents any single ally from taking us for granted. As Lord Palmerston said: โ€œWe have no eternal allies, and we have no perpetual enemies. Our interests are eternal and perpetual, and those interests it is our duty to follow.โ€ Closest partners will exploit you the moment they conclude you have nowhere else to turn. This is why the UAE, despite its deep security and economic ties with Israel, still joins GCC and broader Arab-Muslim positions critical of Israeli actions: it refuses to accept exclusion from its primary identity group and knows how to extract value from multiple camps without becoming captive to any one of them. Winston Churchill put the practical necessity of allies bluntly: โ€œThere is only one thing worse than fighting with allies, and that is fighting without them.โ€ Somaliland should therefore engage and befriend as many Somali political entities as possible, extending its reach and influence rather than standing apart. The same pragmatic approach should apply to the wider Muslim world. We can support broader causes where they do not directly contradict our vital interests, and we can abstain or dissent where they doโ€”without burning the bridges that give us options. Otto von Bismarck captured the underlying requirement for any such balancing act when he noted that: โ€œThe weak are strong when they are united, and the strong are weak when they are divided.โ€ Isolation, or worse, near-total reliance on one or two external patrons, simply hands those patrons the opportunity to advance their own interests at our expense. The rational course is multi-alignment: cultivate the Somali and Muslim spheres as strategic assets, keep existing partnerships, and ensure that no single relationship ever becomes indispensable. @khadarlooge @Abdirahmanirro @MohamudHAbdi @min_abdirahman @Min_MohKahin

Finally, the somalia scam is coming to an end, let's see how long they survive for, or their Turkish colonial rulers will feed them and protect them. I honestly suggest to @UN @UNTMIS_ to take somalia back to its trusteeship status for at least 30 to 50 years.
Statement attributable to the Spokesperson for the Secretary-General on the conclusion of the mandate of the United Nations Transitional Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNTMIS) On 31 October, the United Nations Transitional Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNTMIS) will complete its two-year transition and cease operations, pursuant to Security Council resolutions 2753 (2024) and 2809 (2025) and in line with the request of the Federal Government of Somalia. This milestone brings to a close more than three decades of United Nations missions in support of peacebuilding, state-building, governance and reconciliation in Somalia. In accordance with the transition roadmap jointly agreed between the Federal Government of Somalia and the United Nations, the mandated functions of UNTMIS have been transferred to Somali institutions and United Nations agencies, funds and programmes, reflecting Somalia's commitment to greater national ownership of its peacebuilding and state-building agenda. The Secretary-General commends the progress achieved over the past decades towards building peace and security in Somalia. He commends the determination and resilience of the Somali people despite the many challenges they face, and acknowledges the tremendous efforts made on the countryโ€™s journey from conflict to recovery. The United Nations will continue to support Somalia through its resident agencies, funds and programmes, working in partnership with Somali authorities, the African Union and other international partners to advance peace, stability, human rights and sustainable development. Recognizing the significant political, security, humanitarian and development challenges that remain, the Secretary-General calls for sustained international support to consolidate progress, advance inclusive political dialogue and reconciliation, strengthen institutions, and promote and protect human rights. He also underscores the importance of continued support to address the threat posed by Al-Shabaab and enable a gradual and sustainable security transition. The Secretary-General expresses his profound gratitude to his successive Special Representatives, all national and international personnel of UNTMIS and its predecessor missions, and to all those who have served for their dedication to advancing peace and state-building efforts, often under exceptionally difficult conditions. The Secretary-General also pays special tribute to those United Nations personnel who lost their lives in the service of peace in Somalia. The Secretary-General reaffirms the enduring commitment of the United Nations to the people of Somalia and to supporting Somali-led efforts to build a peaceful, stable and prosperous future. I sometimes wonder if the "Somalinimo" crew from Somaliland are Garaacs. All they look for is โ€œJacaylโ€ and "Walalnimo" from other countries. No country or citizen will ever put aside their agenda for another group. But these lost souls do, in desperate attempt to gain the love their parents never gave them. Letโ€™s get one thing clear: No one owes you anything. Not Ethiopia. ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡น Not Djibouti. ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฏ Least of all the UN Italian terrorist territory next door. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ณ And you donโ€™t owe anybody anything either. This isn't just about our neighbours, it applies to every nation on earth. No one is doing you a favour. Everything is a business transaction based on mutually beneficial agreements. No one owes you recognition. No one owes you investment. Nothing is handed to you. Stop this disastrous, inherited beggar mentality. It has led those who use it nowhere and created the most failed UN project to grace the earth. Shift your focus: Build self-reliance, defend your own interests, and get respect on your own terms.
