The translation: I have just reached a consensus on the 20% $scihub donation plan with Alexandra Elbakyan, the founder of Sci-Hub (@ringo_ring) on behalf of the $scihub community: 1️⃣ The first donation has been completed: 1% of the total circulating supply of $scihub (10 million tokens) has been donated. 2️⃣ The second donation is imminent: 10% of $scihub (100 million tokens) will be transferred tonight. 3️⃣ Future plan: Starting from December 16, 2024 (to commemorate the birth of $scihub), I will donate 1% of $scihub every month for 9 consecutive months (a total of 90 million tokens). In total, 200 million $scihub tokens will be donated, accounting for 20% of the total circulating supply. Additionally, Alexandra Elbakyan has committed to: • Selling no more than 1% of $scihub (10 million tokens) per month unless the token price drops significantly, causing the value of 10 million tokens to fall below $20,000. In that case, she may sell more flexibly to ensure $20,000 is raised. • Actively supporting and promoting $scihub to foster the healthy development of the @SciHubFans community. The donation plan is based on the following considerations: 1️⃣ Safety: A one-time large donation would expose Alexandra to excessive public attention, potentially threatening her safety. 2️⃣ Liquidity: Meme tokens generally have low on-chain liquidity. Large-scale sales could significantly diminish the donation’s value and negatively impact the community. We look forward to supporting Alexandra Elbakyan’s work and the mission of Sci-Hub through this donation plan while ensuring the healthy growth of the community! 🚀
