That sinking feeling when your parents are aging before your very eyes.
May God bless you so much that you bless your parents before they leave.

1st with ALS. 1st Nonverbal.
I am typing this with my brain. It is my primary communication.
Ask me anything! I will answer at least all verified users!
Thank you @elonmusk!

Users can't trust Google.
Google has lied repeatedly to Chrome users about plans to protect their privacy.
This week, it broke yet another promise. 🧵

You will realize the damage APC has done when you wake up and you’re 45 years with nothing and you realize you cannot get the slightest good things of life legally.
You decide to try fraud, we will become Papablo. 45 years yahoo boy.

It's absolutely mind-fucking-boggling that tech has been captured by people who make insane (yes, insane) assertions with zero evidence for their claims aside from "Trust me bro, doesn't your intuition agree with mine on this?"
That's how these people operate. They're detached from reality exactly because they know, deep down, that reality doesn't align with their theories. I've seen it before and I'll see it again. Happens to all kinds of movements that rely on your intuition (which is emotional) rather than your rational.
AI, frameworks, libraries, languages, abstractions (not all of them, some are good and go in the right direction, MOST ARE NOT)...
It is the most moronic, idiotic, thoughtless and ultimately dangerous way to operate in a space where you must definitionally operate bytes and the execution of those bytes via hardware in a purely rational manner.
Then we wonder why websites, software, apps and games are slow, bloated, backwards, ridiculously useless and insecure. Why are VCs funding less, a 10 year low? Why do YOU become the product (hint, it's your data because companies don't know how to build GOOD stuff anymore so they have to make YOU the product)? Why do so few people not know how to write quality code anymore?
Holy fucking shit what a fucking shit show.
More of it please. I cannot wait to see how this inevitably blows up in our face in ways nobody could even possibly begin to imagine while all the consumers (and, by the way, you, as a programmer, CTO, CEO, whatever, ARE ALSO A CONSUMER) pay out the ass for all of these stupid and wasteful ideas.
We have a goldmine with a sign over top and a paved road and beautiful sirens whispering our names. Instead we want to jump off the deep end because the thrill of it "feels good"
More. We must do more of this!

Do they know Spanish?
Now do someone who relies on Cursor

There’s a certain trust that’s reserved for friends who believed in you when you were a no-name. The ones who've watched you fall and helped you up from the ashes. These are the people you meet early in your career, and the more you achieve, the more irreplaceable they become.

Thinking in systems literally rewires your brain. You stop reacting & start designing, seeing patterns, feedback loops & leverage points everywhere. This applies to business, coding, even life itself. Break complexity into scalable, chunkable components & you’ll play the game at a whole new level.

We will be releasing Laravel 12 on Monday.
This is primarily a maintenance focused release that updates upstream dependencies and has minimal breaking changes or major few features.
Because of that, the vast majority of applications will be able to upgrade with no changes to your application's code. 🚀
As more and more applications are built with Laravel, we're focusing on shipping new features continually throughout the year without breaking changes, with our yearly releases being utilized to update dependencies or address new PHP version compatibility.
The main focus next week will be:
- Laravel Cloud
- New Laravel Starter Kits
- New Laravel Website
- Laravel VS Code Extension's Stable Release
It's going to be an amazing week for Laravel and PHP. 🤘
