By the POSIWID standard, government is by FAR the most evil concept humanity has ever invented, and POSIWID is the only standard that matters.

Democrats will be as brazen as one could imagine to secure their power. even if that means instructing ineligible residents on how to vote illegally.
Democrats are on a mission to tell every non-citizen how they can get away with voting in our elections. How is this not election interference? xitter.cf/endwokeness/status/211…

Social Security is a Ponzi scheme.
Bernie Madoff went to jail for spending investors' money instead of investing it.
But that's exactly what our government does with our Social Security payments!

If labor created value, digging a hole and filling it back in would be a booming industry.
Menger sorted this out in 1871. Marxists are still digging.
Can’t we just all agree that California needs to be sunk into the sea?

Do you understand what pedophilia is?
It's sexual attraction to children who haven't reached puberty. It's not an action.
What's criminalized is the act of child sexual abuse, not pedophilia.
Few things are more unlibertarian than creating thought crimes, criminalizing desire.

Lula da Silva’s party has posted a message stating that more arrests of opposition figures are coming in the next few hours.
In this instance, it concerns Senator Deltan Dallagnol. The situation unfolding in Brazil is extremely serious; it is likely that all opposition figures will be imprisoned.

If, by the way, the same situation that just happened in Brazil had happened but with the parties switched -- if Bolsonaro had won last night's election and then a pro-Bolsonaro judge sent the Federal Police to seize Lula's passport and bar him from leaving the country -- every major western media outlet and liberal NGOs would be screaming about the authoritarian attack on Brazil's elections and the destruction of basic freedoms.
This is the future of the USA if we let the leftists have what they want.
NEW: Flávio Bolsonaro has fled Brazil after his 'loss' to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and is en route to the United States, according to Metrópoles.
The report comes after the right-wing senator was ordered to hand over his passport to federal police.
Friends and lawyers say that during a meeting on Monday, Bolsonaro was "afraid of being arrested."
"A supreme court justice cancelled Bolsonaro’s passport minutes after the result in a ruling related to a criminal case against the senator. He had until 11am to surrender the document to the federal police, but did not appear," the Guardian reported.
Bolsonaro has refused to concede the election.
The New York Times reports that the election could be annulled because Lula's former personal attorney made a last-minute decision to keep the polls open, causing chaos and confusion.
Bolsonaro's father, Brazil's former president, is under house arrest, and his brother is in "self-imposed exile" in the United States.
That brother, former congressman Eduardo Bolsonaro, recommended that his brother flee Brazil if he lost during an interview last week.
Metrópoles reports that Flávio Bolsonaro is headed to Florida.

there's actually deep bureaucratic incentives / the-purpose-of-a-system-is-what-it-does / little-'c' corruption here:
fire deps are sized & staffed based on 1930s rates of fires
houses never burn any more
so they send trucks out to every EMT call
...and record it as success

Exactly!
So concentrate. That's what the Free State Project did, and it's the only libertarian project that ever won real power.
Why isn't every serious libertarian doing it?

We are in the 4th singularity
1: agriculture and government
2: printing press and Westphalian system
3: industrial revolution
4: AI
The singularity happened 250 years ago, anyone who talks about it as a future or present concern are not serious contenders or helpful to the task at hand. It's been the post apocalypse for a long time and your job is not to panic or prepare or survive, but to build civilization from scraps. The dream of liberalism is that every man be a king, and it has been long achieved. This was also the state of man in nature, before civilization. We are at the stage in the cycle where kings begin to unite through marriages and oaths into nations. It's been a world of 9 billion micro-nations, every man is an island. Now some are starting to conquer and some are starting to unite in other ways, and the 9 billion micronations will form into 1 billion slightly less Micro-nations, and so on and so on. Technology and Peter tiel and globalism is not the end times, it's not the antichrist. You're not in the revelation, you are walking in the desert out of Egypt. You haven't even made it out of Egypt yet
Just because I think heroin should be sold cheaply by the pound at Walmart doesn't mean I want to associate with junkies, hire them, or pay for their healthcare. Just because I don't want laws against abortion doesn't mean I don't think you're not a good person if you have one.
With the one exception being The Free State Project in New Hampshire, Libertarians have wasted half a century doing nothing useful.
Replying to @jeremykauffman
Socialists didn't takeover every single institution in the United States, successfully brainwash generations of American children, and drive government policy for a century by creating a "Socialist Party" and spending every dollar they could raise on ballot access. There should be no Libertarian Party.

In free nations, we investigate crimes to see who is guilty of them.
In communist tyrannies, they investigate men to see what they can be punished for.

UNDERCOVER: GAVIN NEWSOM SAYS THE DSA IS "GOING TO BE DOMINANT" AND "MAINSTREAM" IN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!
"The DSA, the energy and the desire and demand for bold change, not incremental change, is very much going to be dominant. I mean, that's going to be a mainstream Democratic movement. Absolutely. No question about that."
That's California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a likely 2028 presidential candidate, speaking to an undercover journalist while campaigning in New Hampshire.
Asked by a "younger voter" who said "we don't want Kamala Harris, we want more democratic socialist policies":
"No one is arguing to manage the status quo and fail more efficiently."
"You can't play in the margins anymore. The system's broken. It's completely unbalanced, and we can't manage the decline. We have to completely reimagine."
