Jersey City councilwoman Amy DeGise sits through almost five hours of public calls for her to resign. She surprises room by speaking up at the end. She won’t resign. She says she feels horrible, but doesn’t apologize. And says her silence is only because of the legal situation.

- Only states can regulate abortion
- States can’t regulate firearms
- The Environmental Protection Agency can’t protect the environment
