Wow, Trump's mind is gone. His mental decline is so obvious, angry outbursts and waving at imaginary people are not good signs. Remembering that this fool holds the authority to authorise a nuclear launch is something we should all be very, very worried about.
THRILLING game tonight watching Manchester Storm pull it back to 4-4, the home fans were jumping out of their seats 🙌 my little nephew was mascot and had an amazing experience meeting the players 🏒😍
𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗘: Storm 4 - 5 Giants
Brilliant efforts from Storm, who come back late in the final period to tie the game.
It’s #94 Patrick Guay, who seals the win for @BelfastGiants in overtime.

"Private healthcare would be far cheaper for all of us". All of us = healthy people with no serious medical issues who don't need treatment + medication and who think the NHS is a subscription service. See how those "cheaper" premiums skyrocket after a cancer diagnosis.
If you are on £25,000 salary per year, £700 of your taxes goes to the NHS annually
If you are earning £40,000 £1,650 of your taxes goes to the NHS annually
If you are earning £75,000 £4,500 goes to the NHS annually
Private healthcare would be far cheaper for ALL of us.
Imagine not seeing a doctor this year but you’ve paid over £2,000 towards the NHS…. Imagine not getting a doctor’s appointment yet you are paying thousands of your taxes into a service which can’t see you.
I think we should scrap the NHS and create a much smaller organisation which ONLY assists
🔹Those above 60
🔹New Mothers
🔹children up to 18
🔹Long term disabled
Everyone else can pay for private healthcare
Premium private healthcare is cheaper.
Those who are on low income can pay a discounted private healthcare which will still be cheaper than what we are throwing at the NHS.
Stop worshiping the NHS which is a black hole of wastage.

The tabloids have invented this alternate-universe Britain where you phone the DWP, tell them you’ve got a peanut allergy or a sore finger, and suddenly they’re paying your rent and buying you a free car - and somehow, people believe that’s how it actually works.
UK gives new cars every three years to "disabled" people with tennis elbow, gluten intolerance, dyslexia

Never asks "why" though, does she - if this is even true. Not an ounce of concern for these 7 year olds. Hates disabled people with a passion but isn't interested in what she and others could actually do to support people with disabilities instead of punishing them.
More 7 year olds are on disability benefits than 50 year olds.
From primary school, they're getting defined by their diagnosis and told what they can't do.
@Conservatives will stop £ thousands in cash handouts for mild conditions and give support instead.
Can't believe how peaceful it is without all the far right bots. I'm liking all the posts hating on Musk, Trump, MAGA, the weird looking women with long necks and alien faces, the new press secretary (not a lawyer), support for Zelenskyy and basically all Democrats posts 🌊
Another important question is why should pensioners have a higher personal allowance than workers. Raise the PA for all or not at all. Simple Assessment is already in place for pensioners with state pension as their sole income - some have been paying tax on SP for years.
An important question for @JohnHealey_MP. Next April
- Full new State Pension will likely rise to £13,040/yr
- Tax-free personal allowance frozen at £12,570/yr
So the full new State Pension would normally attract tax. Yet you've said you'll honour former Chancellor Rachel Reeves' promise that those whose ONLY income is the State Pension won't pay tax.
But will that be a cliff edge?
If someone gets say just £30/yr from a tiny pension from an old job, would they lose that protection and face around £100 in tax for just thirty quid income?
And what about a little savings interest? Even if it's tax-free under the starting rate for savings, would it count as extra income and cost them the tax?
This needs to be thought through when you tell us in the budget.

I'm 45 with £900,000 in my pension. Should I retire early or did I just want you to know that? thedailymash.co.uk/news/work…

The older I get, the more I understand why people disappear into gardening, baking, reading, and long walks. Not because life got boring. Because peace became valuable.

These are the in-between days, the cusp of seasons. Autumn is sidling through the branches and hedgerows, daily brushing more of her bronze and gold into the green. Every falling leaf, every misty morning, ushers summer a little further along the lane.

One of the men in this picture is a politician currently serving 10 and a half years in prison for accepting Russian bribes. The other was his boss and doesn't think there's evidence of Russia interfering in UK politics.
Apart from the fact that all WASPI women are now claiming a triple locked state pension, the Ombudsman actually concluded that SOME 1950s born women might not have known their own state pension age - not all. Govt is right to knock back the recommendation for "compensation" 🐝
After a six year investigation the Parliamentary Ombudsman concluded that 1950s-born women suffered unjust failures to inform them of State Pension age changes. But two and a half years later, those affected are still campaigning for justice.
I have signed a letter urging the government to meet with the WASPI Campaign as soon as possible, and to set out a plan to deliver justice to 1950s-born women this autumn.

This is one of the reasons we can’t have a serious conversation about things like the triple lock; as children, people in their 50s were told “your grandad fought in the war” and they don’t seem to realise we’re not talking about about their grandparents anymore.
This was at 6pm. A lovely, warm day on the beach for October, and very quiet too (always a bonus!). The sky was on fire on the way home, incredible sunset 🌅 #LythamStAnnes
