Trevon Brazile would’ve been a great get for the Wolves in the draft man. Went pick 35, two after Isiah Evans.

Monroe strikes immediately: On the second play from scrimmage, Pooty Cunningham delivers a perfect ball to Brien Walker who wins a footrace and completes a 67-yard lightning strike to open the game. Monroe 6, Canisius 0.

Are the FVV haters still out there? Are there any Rockets fans who still foolishly think this team would be better without him at PG? You can just see how much better the offense flows with FVV running the point. #AllFire

They won't need Fred to do so...Amen and Alpi will be guys who put pressure on paint. Fred role is to organize, take care of rock, lead, and make threes...The areas they lacked last year.

All I’ve heard: It’s only the preseason. They just beat “the Mavs” Now they just beat the Spurs. Keep that same energy. The Rockets are contenders.

It can’t be overstated just how much Fred VanVleet does to make the game easier for everyone on the Rockets, especially KD & Sengun. Point guards matter! Ball security matters! Not to mention how much space he provides with his shooting threat, movement, and quick decision making. This roster checks a lot of boxes. Nobody should want to see them.

One day you’ll realize that your mom wasn’t decorating the house for Christmas because she had extra time. She was doing it because she wanted you to have memories. The lights. The cookies. The same decorations every year. All that effort was love.

Small-sided games aren’t “less basketball.” They’re more learning per possession. More touches.
More reads.
More decisions.
More chances to defend, communicate, and play through mistakes. If you want players to think the game faster, give them more moments where they actually have to solve it.

Probably worth a reminder that the Celtics started 0-3 last year and won 56 games. Lotta basketball to be played.

Player development is not about making players dependent on the coach. It’s about teaching them to recognize the advantage, make the read, and solve the possession themselves. The goal isn’t players who know every answer. It’s players who can find the answer.
