We fully support this important message from @vBeckerath . Violence and intimidation have no place in elections. The safety of all involved and the integrity of the electoral process must be ensured.
We are deeply concerned about reported violent incidents across a number of polling stations.
Serbian citizens need to be able to exercise their democratic right to vote in a peaceful and safe environment.
We call on all actors to remain calm, to act responsibly and refrain from violence and provocations and on the competent institutions to ensure safety of all involved in the electoral process.
Today, the Norwegian and Dutch ambassadors visited @CRTArs election monitoring headquarters. Domestic observers are vital to free and fair elections. Reports of intimidation and smear campaigns are concerning. All observers must be able to work without interference.
🇳🇱 Congratulations to Dutch director Katelijne Langezaal, winner of Best Director at the 17th BOSIFEST for her film #BreakingWaves! Our Political Secretary Aart Murray accepted the award on her behalf.
Thank you to the Serbian Rugby League Association for hosting the Ukranian and Dutch teams. After yesterday’s match in Zemun, ambassador Elgersma welcomed all three teams to the Dutch residence.
Our deepest admiration for the Ukranian players returning to defend their country.
