Brentford kick-off routines
Brentford have used two main routines from kick off, depending on the opponent's pressing style.
The first routine which they scored against Tottenham and Man City who used zonal pressing when defending kick-offs.

Muiz Raheem (RW,🇳🇬09) born winger with excellent close control, a low centre of gravity and sharp changes of direction. A tricky 1v1 player who knows how to manipulate defenders. Plenty of potential to build on. 👀⚡️

For most “Omode” [Yoruba language] loosely translates as children first experience with football is through informal street games that put emphasis on goal scoring.
They naturally develop skills like finishing & quick techniques that are really transferable to pro football.

Carlos Queiroz’s appointment as BS coach genuinely made me sad..
Btw, the FA president granted an interview talking about “style hasn’t taken us anywhere” before Carlos’ appointment, yes — that was when I knew what to expect in the next cycle..
He player named Mama Baldè (CF) on the team sheet brings me nothing but pure joy — proper African heritage football names..
Football made in Guinea Bissau might be back..
Hahah, those little plays where Renato Nhaga goes into a trance are a balm for the soul… this is who a Guniea Bissau football calls a “controller” — the tactical cornerstone and the future of NT.
And I loved the overall performance of Guinea Bissau against Nigeria..
Being a playmaker/attacking midfielder on a team coached by Abdeslam Quaddou (coach of Orlando pirates) is a divine blessing.
Just stopping by to tell you all that this account will rejoice for all the good things that would happen to Ivorian football in the next 2-4 years..
Too many coaches are trying to have their cake and eat it.
Football doesn’t work that way unfortunately.
The greats all understood that but the new crop seem to have missed that part when studying them.
Admiration is the furthest thing from understanding.
Essentially, it’s great to have Gibele back with the NT.
What a top center forward he’s been the past few months..

football president talking about style of play, and the way he put it in context is very deadly.
My little fear is that, some great projects on the continent facing pressure would get to this conclusion too, because of no results yet —and it’s not a great thing for the sport.

I had put together a list of 145 players under the age of 20 , 145 young talents developed in Côte d’Ivoire and currently playing in Côte d’Ivoire , that I wanted to follow over the next few years.
With the new season starting in the coming weeks, I decided to revisit the list and do a proper update: see where they are today, what has changed, and most importantly, track their development.
And the first finding is already very interesting: I haven’t even reached the 10th name on the list yet… and 5 of them have already signed in Europe.
This is getting very, very interesting.
I’ll keep you updated as I work my way through the list.
And once the update is complete, I’ll share the final list of 145 players here.

One day, I’ll talk about this man.
But it’s coming… it’s coming. Don’t worry. It’s coming strong.
We’re going to talk about him properly, in detail, and I’ll tell you exactly why I rate this man so highly.
For now, let me just say: Big shout-out to you, Big Richard. 🤝🏾
