Muiz Raheem (RW,🇳🇬09) born winger with excellent close control, a low centre of gravity and sharp changes of direction. A tricky 1v1 player who knows how to manipulate defenders. Plenty of potential to build on. 👀⚡️

For most “Omode” [Yoruba language] loosely translates as children first experience with football is through informal street games that put emphasis on goal scoring. They naturally develop skills like finishing & quick techniques that are really transferable to pro football.
Anytime, I watch grassroots football in Nigeria. (Their appreciation of figure of goal scoring intrigues me so much) Man I just smile LMAOO.. Jayden taps me “Richard did you see that” LMAOO

Carlos Queiroz’s appointment as BS coach genuinely made me sad.. Btw, the FA president granted an interview talking about “style hasn’t taken us anywhere” before Carlos’ appointment, yes — that was when I knew what to expect in the next cycle..

I had put together a list of 145 players under the age of 20 , 145 young talents developed in Côte d’Ivoire and currently playing in Côte d’Ivoire , that I wanted to follow over the next few years. With the new season starting in the coming weeks, I decided to revisit the list and do a proper update: see where they are today, what has changed, and most importantly, track their development. And the first finding is already very interesting: I haven’t even reached the 10th name on the list yet… and 5 of them have already signed in Europe. This is getting very, very interesting. I’ll keep you updated as I work my way through the list. And once the update is complete, I’ll share the final list of 145 players here.

One day, I’ll talk about this man. But it’s coming… it’s coming. Don’t worry. It’s coming strong. We’re going to talk about him properly, in detail, and I’ll tell you exactly why I rate this man so highly. For now, let me just say: Big shout-out to you, Big Richard. 🤝🏾

Rockson Yeboah 21 years 🇬🇭 is similar to an “armored vehicle in combat.” he’s unorthodox for a Ghanaian central defender —(For the way he perceives and assert play)

We were in Port Bouët, meeting and discovering young talents. Real talents , young players who, despite limited resources and sometimes makeshift academies, possess that special gift, that unique way of touching the ball and understanding the game. We went to meet them, observe them, discover them, and give some of them the opportunity to be seen. Stay tuned… you’ll be seeing them very soon on our page. 👀⚽️ Ivorian talent is incredible. Ivorian talent is found in the streets. 🇨🇮

Oluwole Kamal, you speak to me and I clearly hear the message, fine talent. He’s only 15 years old Man The thing I like about these profiles of Nigerian midfielders is their special understanding of ‘possession’..

I started paying attention to Mali academies after one of @NOR_SCOUT’s tweets. Those guys are churning out players like crazy, and it’s not by accident. Maybe it’s time we swallow our pride and go see what they’re doing better than us

Pape Gueye is far from being a super-class player (his passing range tends to be limited), however, if I have to say something positive about his qualities it's that he interprets his teammates' intentions very well, in addition to rarely making a bad decision.

Caleb Marfo Yirenkyi 18yrs midfielder, will be a top player. Interesting profile, he’s a project. I watched him somewhere last year in a game where his side (RTD) lost to Tallons (5-1) he was outstanding. I loved his performance on that day.

Chuck of the players have failed MRI test and that can suddenly end the high hopes in the team’s camp. Also, Ogum is very conservative in his approach (goes into games the same way) there are no major innovations in his strategy. An observation throughout the team’s preps.

They are not looking like a surprise package man. Uganda are in Group B with Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon, and DR Congo. That's a brutal group - all three are physical, organized, and used to West/Central African styles.
