I just clicked on the link and was literally lost in these images... From penguins fearlessly diving into the icy waters of Antarctica to touching moments of cultural traditions and landscapes that change right before our eyes. It’s an incredible contrast: pristine wilderness and the fragile human world. Each photo tells a whole story that you’ll want to gaze at for hours, holding your breath. Thank you, NatGeo, for reminding us just how beautiful, diverse, and yet fragile our world is. 🌍📸🐧
Switzerland once circled these waters completely: the Swiss Polar Institute's Antarctic Circumnavigation Expedition sailed around Antarctica from Dec 2016 to Mar 2017, carrying 22 research projects from plankton to microplastics. @SwissPolar #Antarctica
